On December 21, 2011 in Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the chairmanship of Minister Ravil Zaripov, held was a meeting on the results of activities of Tatarstan representative offices for 2010 and areas of their activities for the year 2011.
On December 21, 2011 at Kazan Motor-Building Production Association held was a joint session of collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Economy, Tatarstan Ministry of Energy and Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. The session was called “Outcome of the development of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2010. Investments and Innovations, determinants for further economic development in 2011». President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, attended the session.

On January 17, 2011 OAO KamAZ and Daimler AG signed a Letter of Intent. The companies agreed to joint their activities in local production of trucks axes. The planned volume of investments for the first stage is to amount to € 50 mln.

On January 17, 2011 Ravil Zaripov, the Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade met with the executives of OOO Yokogawa Electric CIS, viz Vladimir Solovyev, CEO; Alexandr Rezanov, Commercial Director and Alexey Anokhin, the company representative in Kazan. The parties discussed current issues and prospects for cooperation.
SOLLERS Group of companies, an official producer, importer and distributor of Fiat passenger cars and commercial vehicles within the obsolete cars utilization program 2011 posts granting additional discounts for all Russia assembled Fiat models, including Albea, Doblo Panorama, Linea passenger cars and FIAT Ducato commercial vehicles family. Starting 2011 the total amount of discount makes up 90 000 - 150 000 roubles. The programme is effective for all FIAT dealers centers and FIAT Professional in Russian territory.

Zelenodolsk shipbuilding yard n.a. Gorky completed designing process of dry cargo delivery non-propelled barge with a freight-carrying capacity of 3400 tonnes.
Sales volumes of SOLLERS Group in 2010 surged to 37% totaling 93 000 vehicles versus 68 000 vehicles following the results of the year 2009. A substantial increase in sales was indicated in all product brands manufactured and sold by SOLLERS Group.
