On 10 February 2011, a conference and an exhibition of the products of the enterprises incorporated in the Aviapriborostroenie Concern established in the interests of KAMAZ and SOLLERS automotive factorieswasheldat KamAZ with the assistance of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.

On 10 February 2011, Head of Department for Consumer Market and Services Analysis and Development of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Valentina Popova gave an interview to GTRK Tatarstan and TRK Kazan with regards to price climate on foods.

On 9 February 2011, Director of division of automobile industry of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Aleksey Rakhmanov declared at a press briefing that 70 thousand certificates within the framework of the government programme for used cars disposal, will be sufficient until April 2011. After the date the Government will consider the obligations to the car-owners fulfilled.

On 10 February 2011, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov is on a working trip to Sverdlovsk Region in the Tatarstan delegation led by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Tatarstan delegation is reported to visit Pervouralskiy Novotrubny Zavod (pipe fabricating plant) where held will be negotiations on areas for cooperation.

On 9 February 2011 Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired a task force meeting on implementation of Lean production techniques in the Tatarstan enterprises. Under consideration was a plan of actions for 2011 and current issues related to Lean technologies implementation.

On 8 February 2011, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov accompanied by the Tatarstan delegation made a working trip to Saint Petersburg and visited OAO Izhorskie Zavody.

On 9-11 February 2011, Kamsky Industrial Forum and specialised exhibitions take place in Naberezhnye Chelny. About 50 companies, universities and organisations from a number of Russian cities and foreign countries participate at the proceedings of the Forum.

On 8 November 2011, the ceremony of honouring and awarding the Tatarstan winners took place at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the competition of innovation projects at the 10th Moscow Innovation and Investment Showroom. The ceremony was visited by Gulnara Ahmadeyeva, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 8 February 2011, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev communicated directly with Kazan students during the opening ceremony of the All-Russian Science Festival at the Moscow State University. Scientists of Tupolev Kazan State Technical University presented to Mr. Medvedev the innovative ANSAT helicopter modernisation project. The project is being implemented in cooperation with OAO Kazan Helicopters.

Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) prepared its amendment package for the Law on Trade, the Head of the Board for Social Sphere and Trade of FAS Timofey Nizhegorodtsev reported at the 6th Russian Trade Forum.
