Experts say that the most favourable region in Russia for doing business is Tatarstan. The level of barriers in the republic is much lower than the average in Russia. Moscow has the most unfavourable business environment, the Vedomosti reports.

On 15 March 2011, OAO Kazan Helicopter Plant, a member of the Russian Helicopters Holding, hosted a Report-and-Election-Conference of Tatarstan Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organisation “Russian Mechanical Engineers’ Union”. The Conference was attended by over 40 delegates.
