On 22 July 2011, ОАО Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard held a keel laying-down ceremony of project 21631 small-size missile ship. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov participated at the ceremony.

On 22 July 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar for light and woodworking industries. Measures of state support for small and medium-sized enterprises were discussed during the seminar.

On 20 July 2011, Kazan will host the 10th session of the Permanent working group on interregional and cross-border cooperation of the Sub-Commission on trade and economic cooperation of the Russian-Chinese Commission for preparation of regular meetings of heads of governments. The session will be chaired by Deputy Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Travnikov and Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Zhong Shan.

During the press conference held on July 19, 2011 in Hanover in follow-up of Russian-German intergovernmental consultations the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev identified promising areas of Russian-German cooperation.

On 14 July 2011, Yekaterinburg hosted an opening meeting of the Interregional Council of Ministers of Industrial Regions of the Russian Federation chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation Georgiy Kalamanov.

 
Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov sent his congratulations to the management and personnel of OOO Continental Automotive RUS with the 15th anniversary of the company’s foundation.

On 14 July 2011 Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participated at a plenary session of the Interregional Council of Ministers of Russia’s industrial regions within the official mission to Sverdlovsk Region. This meeting were initiated by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Sciences of Sverdlovsk Region Alexandr Petrov and Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

In the period of 13 to 14 July 2011, the working visit of the OAO Gazprom delegation to the Republic of Tatarstan is held. Today, the delegation of OAO Gazprom was met at Begishevo Airport by Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, company management of OOO Gazprom Transgaz Kazan and OOO RariTEK. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the issues of interaction between OAO Gazprom and Tatarstan enterprises in the area of supplies for the needs of Gazprom and its structural subdivisions of hardware, supplies and materials manufactured in the republic.

 
June 12, 2011 is a National Day of Mourning for the victims of MS Bulgaria wreck. The staff of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan expresses the deepest and most sincere condolences to the bereaved families and relatives. We will keep the memory of the perished alive in our hearts.

On 7 June 2011, draft law “On Public-Private Partnership in the Republic of Tatarstan” was adopted on the second reading and in general at the 20th session of the 4th State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The draft law provides for the creation of legal framework for the development of cooperation between public authorities and businesses in the most important social and economic issues.
