During the Meeting Sergei Kogogin, the Director General of OAO KamAZ and the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Hamitov discussed the issues of further intensification of cooperation between Bashkortostan and OAO KamAZ.

On 2 August, 2011 the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting with authorized federal districts representatives on the issues of investments.

On August 2, 2011 the Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting to discuss the issues of the second stage engineering infrastructure to be created at SEZ Alabuga.

 
On 3 August 2011, within the official mission to the Republic of Tatarstan, the delegation of the Yaroslavl Region headed by the Deputy Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Igor Elfimov met with the top officials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Yaroslavl Region.

On 28 July 2011, during the meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Federation Government the national policy was considered to ensure industrial safety until 2020.

 
On 29 July 2011, extended meeting of the Republican Interagency Committee on labour safety was held with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, top officials of ministries and agencies, the republic’s enterprises. The meeting was initiated by the Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 27 July 2011, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a federal law “On Amendments to the Federal Law On Science and State Scientific and Technical Policy”.

On 27 June 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the republic’s Tatmedia, agency for press and mass communication and representatives of federal and republican mass media arranged a media tour to FGUP PO Plant n.a. Sergo with the aim of promoting worker and engineer professions, as well as lean production principles.

 
On 25 July 2011, during the meeting of the SEZ Alabuga Supervisory Board held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, four new projects were approved, among them the projects on establishment of automobile factory of Ford-Sollers joint venture, on organization of polycrystalline silicon production, on health aids production, as well as the project on the establishment of a logistics park in the territory of Special Economic Zone Alabuga.
