From 15 to 18 September 2011, Sochi hosted the 10th International Investment Forum “Sochi 2011”, visited by the Tatarstan delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 17 September 2011, in the territory of the Kazan scientific and research Institute of aviation technology KNIAT, took place a meeting with the participation of the Prime Mister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov on the issues of developing Technopark of industrial technologies.

On 15 September 2011 in Sochi, within the 10th International Investment Forum, taking place was the presentation of A145 project speed passenger ship manufactured at A.M. Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant

On September 14th, at SEZ Alabuga, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the participation of Oleg Saveliev, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Administration of the Yelabuzhsky municipal district, SEZ Alabuga, ministries, departments and enterprises of Tatarstan.

During the period of 12 to 15 September 2011, Russian Association of Foundrymen held 10th Conference of Foundrymen and International exhibition “Foundry -2011” at the Korston Hotel & Mall Kazan under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On September 12, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participates in the 7th Baikal International Forum as a member of the Tatarstan delegation headed by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

On September 8, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov held a meeting on the issue of celebrating the Engineering Workers’ Day. During the meeting, top executives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tupolev Kazan State Technical University discussed organisational issues of holding the festive events.

On September 7, the Kazan International Airport hosted a ceremony of opening the Kazan-Munich international flight by Ak Bars Aero Airlines. The welcoming speeches were delivered by Iskander Muflikhanov , Director of the Presidential Department of Foreign Affairs; Igor Nosov , First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan; representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Roads and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism.

On September 7, ОАО Kazanskaya Yarmarka carried out the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition “Oil. Gas. Petrochemicals. Kazan”. On behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister Ildar Mingaleyev delivered a welcoming speech to the participants and visitors of the Exhibition.

On September 7, a press conference was held dedicated to the results of the “Best Products of the Republic of Tatarstan 2011” competition. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov , representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, FGU TatTSSM, federal and republic’s mass media.
