The Ministry of Industry and Trade has traditionally hosted informal meeting for the industry retirees, distinguished sales and public services workers of the republic.
On 26 September 2011, the Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, headed by retired Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nikolai Elizarov. During the meeting the exchange of views took place on issues of international and trade and economic cooperation between Tatarstan and CIS and non-CIS countries.
On 24 September 2011, Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin presented the country’s economy development program at the XII conference of the United Russia party.
On 22 September 2011, official delegation from Bashkortostan headed by Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan, is on official mission to the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, mechanical engineering sector Tatarstan comprises about 150 large and medium-sized enterprises and organisations of the automotive, engine, compressor, ship, aircraft, energy and gas equipment production, tool manufacturing. Employees of the republic’s engineering sector make an important contribution to the development of industry and strengthening the economy of Tatarstan.
On 21 September 2011, MIT RT jointly with the Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of Tatarstan, engineering enterprises of the republic and Tupolev KSTU, organise and held the celebration of the Engineering Workers’ Day. The ceremonial events will be attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From 19 to 20 August 2011, Tatarstan delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on the working trip to the Leningrad Region. During the meetings and negotiations, issues of regional cooperation were discussed.
