On September 6, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov as a member of the Tatarstan delegation headed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov made a working trip to the Republic of Turkey. During the trip, the issues of cooperation development between Tatarstan and Turkey will be discussed, including those in the area of woodworking, motor industry, and automotive components production.

On August 26, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov held a working meeting dedicated to the development of the targeted programme “Introduction of the Lean Production Project for 2011-2013 in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

On August 26, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the first session of the Coordination Council of Scientific and Educational Cluster in GOU VPO Kazan State Technical University.

On August 25, OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka hosted the Conference of the interdepartmental working group on implementing the state policy in the prevention and interdiction of illegal production and sales of consumer goods in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov.

On August 25 and 26, the city of Kazan hosted the Days of Moscow in Tatarstan. Moscow delegation headed by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Aleksandr Gorbenko comprised heads of several Moscow City departments, representatives of business community and mass-media, art workers.
