On 18 December 2014, Kazan hosted the International Research and Application Conference “Efficiency and Lean Production”. It was organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Tatarstan Academy of Information and the Tatarstan Academy of Science.
The conference included a plenary session and round table discussions attended by representatives of the Russian and Tatarstan large industrial enterprises, Tatarstan educational institutions, and international lean coaches.
On 18 December 2014, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Tatarstan Academy of Informatization and the Tatarstan Academy of Science will hold the Research and Application Conference “Productivity and Lean Production”.
Within the conference, a plenary session will be held. It will be attended by representatives of Russian and Tatarstan major industrial enterprises, Tatarstan educational institutions and by international lean coaches.
On 16 December 2014, Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Tatarstan and Slovenia Business Forum in Ljubljana. The forum was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Tatarstan President; Nikolay Nikiforov, the Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media and Co-Chairman of the Russian and Slovenian Intergovernmental Committee on Cooperation in the field of Trade, Economy, Science and Technology; Doku Zavgayev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Slovenia, Ravil Zaripov, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies, representatives of Tatarstan and Slovenian business communities.
On 20 December 2014, Kazan Agroindustrial Park will host the New Year Charity Fair comprising the sale of items hand-made by orphaned children, physically challenged children, senior citizens, and students from supplementary education institutions. All the money received from selling the goods will be allocated to build the second stage of the hospice for patients over 18 years with serious and advanced oncological diseases.
On 16 December 2014, Rybno-Slobodsky District hosted the official opening ceremony of retrofitted Kutly-Bukash 220 kW substation. The opening ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin, and executives of OAO Setevaya Company (Grid Company).
The programme of the two-day working trip involves business meetings and negotiations, including the meeting between the Tatarstan delegation headed by President Rustam Minnikhanov and Slovenian Chairman of the State Council Mitja Bervar, the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek, and the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Samo Hribar Milič.
The Tatarstan delegation will participate in the Slovenia and Tatarstan Business Forum.
During the meeting, representatives of French companies operating in Tatarstan told about current activities in Tatarstan and projects of further development: Schneider Electric, Air Liquid, Leroy Merlin retail chains, and Decathlon. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the suggested projects and expressed his confidence in their successful implementation.
The event started with the play’s opening night that is dedicated to the 45th anniversary of KamAZ. Then the official ceremony was held for awarding veteran workers and best employees of OAO KamAZ. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov bestowed the republic awards and congratulated all employees of OAO KamAZ with the remarkable date. Director General of OAO KamAZ Sergey Kogogin was one of the awardees.
On 10 December 2014, OAO Tatspirtprom hosted the media tour organized by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with Tatmedia Republic Agency for Press and Communications. The mission of the media tour is to impede counterfeit products, as well as to learn about activities of the company on production of viable import-substituting products.
Within the framework of the media tour, journalists visited Kazan Distillery and learned about the plant production.
