Summarising the results of the meeting, parties agreed to create joint working groups that will study, as early as in January 2015, the opportunities for Tatarstan enterprises and will determine specific areas of cooperation in compliance with the requirements of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Defence.
Enterprises and organisations are awarded prizes annually through competition for achieving significant results in the quality of products and services and for implementing high performance quality management techniques.
This year the contest committee was headed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. According to the decision of the committee, 30 executives of Tatarstan enterprises became the prize winners in 9 categories.
The mission of the visit was the further development of bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and Tajikistan.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation attended the meetings in the Tajikistan Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the Tajikistan Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the Tajikistan Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tajikistan, the Trade Representative Office of Russia in Tajikistan. The delegation also had a meeting with the Tatar diaspora in Tajikistan.
On 23 December 2014, Moscow hosted the meeting with the students from Tatarstan, who are the members of the Tatar Club of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Principal of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations Anatoliy Torkunov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Science Taliya Khabriyeva, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and top officials of the Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
During the meeting, parties signed an Agreement on cooperation between Moscow State Institute of International Relations and Kazan Power Engineering University.
On 22 December 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the regular meeting between co-chairmen of the Joint Working Group between the regions of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Yangtze provinces for the cooperation in the trade, economic and humanitarian areas. The meeting was held in Ulyanovsk.
The head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov delivered a report on the current state and prospects for the bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and China.
