On 1 April 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov held an extraordinary meeting of the Tatarstan Headquarters for Ensuring Power Supply Security.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Rostekhnadzor Volga District Administration, and Tatarstan electrical energy enterprises.
During the meeting that was held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, flood and fire hazards expected in 2016 were analysed and the potential risks of electricity and heat supply violations (including socially significant facilities and critical infrastructure) were assessed.
On 1 April 2016, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired a meeting of the Tatarstan Government “On Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of a Man and a Citizen within the Framework of Considering Notifications in the Tatarstan State Information System of People's Control”. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, heads of ministries and agencies of the republic, employees of the Tatarstan Presidential Administration and the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, heads of municipalities, and top executives of municipalities.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that the People's Control system “has become an efficient tool that allows citizens of the republic to report on the issues that worried them”.
On 31 March 2016, in the framework of the working visit to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov visited the Bovanenkovskoe oil and gas deposit based on of which the unique Yamal Gas Production Centre is being developed. The Head of the Ministry studied the work of main operational facilities, expertise of applying leading-edge technologies, and implementation of environmental protection measures.
From 30 to 31 March 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov being a part of the delegation of top officials of executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is visiting the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Within the working visit, top officials of executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will have a meeting with the top executives of PAO Gazprom and OOO Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, and the Head of the Yamal Municipal District.
The participants will visit the Bovanenkovo Oil and Gas Condensate Deposit and learn about activities of the gas field and the facilities of rotational village Bovanenkovo.
On 29 March 2016, the Kazan Federal University hosted round table discussions on issues of anti-corruption educational activities.
The round table discussions were attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, representatives of the Tatarstan Presidential Department on Anti-Corruption Policies, top officials of ministries and agencies, higher educational institutions, and law enforcement agencies of the republic.
On 28 March 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made a tour of several enterprises of the Military - Industrial Complex (MIC) located in the Republic of Tatarstan: AO Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant, AO State Institute of Applied Optics, and AO Schwabe Technological Laboratory.
The Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made a tour of manufacturing workshops, got acquainted with activities of the enterprises on implementation of investment programmes, upgrading of production processes and facilities within the framework of the federal target programmes, and implementation of advanced managerial technologies.
On 29 March 2016, Kazan hosted a Business Forum of representatives of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan business communities. The Forum was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan Askhat Nuskabay, Deputy Chairman of AO National Export and Investment Agency KAZNEX INVEST Meyerzhan Maykenov, representatives of the AO Export Credit Insurance Corporation KazExportGarant, and representatives of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan business communities.
On 29 March 2016, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted a meeting of the working group on the Tatarstan Furniture Cluster Strategy Development. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Municipality, the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of Naberezhnye Chelny and Kama Region of Tatarstan, the Association of Tatarstan Furniture Industry, ANO Kama Centre of Cluster Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, OOO Market Research Centre, Lubyansky Forestry College, OOO Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry.
During the meeting, representatives of the working group discussed the draft strategy and made suggestions for its improvement.
From 28 to 30 March 2016, the representatives of Kazakhstan-based companies are visiting the Republic of Tatarstan within their trade and economic mission.
On 29 March 2016, Kazan will host a business forum for representatives of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan business communities.
The forum will be attended by representatives of top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan, AO National Export and Investment Agency KAZNEX INVEST, AO KazExportGarant Export Credit Insurance Corporation, and representatives of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan business communities.
Students of Menzelinsk boarding school for orphaned children made a tour of PAO KAMAZ. The tour was organised by request of the school`s administration. The children learnt about the main assembly line and the cabin assembly line. Children were following the process of installing cabins on chassis completed with an engine. The young guests also watched a presentation video about KAMAZ and its products.
Tours of plants are a part of KAMAZ career guidance programme.
