On 21 April 2016, GUP National Trade Mark jointly with the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the round table discussions on the topic of “Financially Affordable and High-Quality Foods for Population is the Basis for Food Security in the Country”.
The speakers at the round table discussions include representatives of State authorities, scientific and research institutions, top executives of trade organisations, representatives of Tatarstan producers and suppliers, including Tatspirtprom which became one of the first participants in the National Trade Mark project.
During the round table discussions, the participants considered the issues of developing competitive advantages for commodity producers in Tatarstan.
On 20 April 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the members of the Thuringian delegation (Germany).
The Head of the republic noted that the delegation was an authoritative one and comprised members of the Government and the Parliament of Thuringia, as well as representatives of industrial enterprises.
At the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and Bodo Ramelow answered the questions of media representatives.
On 20 April 2016, Prime Minister of the Free State of Thuringia Bodo Ramelow visited German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies. He was accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
The Thuringian delegation comprised representatives of the Thuringian Parliament and Principal of Ilmenau University of Technology Peter Scharff.
The delegates have also participated in the opening ceremony of the German-Russian Engineering Centre “Mechanical Engineering” and Siemens Educational and Research Laboratory.
Tatarstan is interested to be chosen by Thuringia-based companies as a launching pad for further entering the Russian market. This has been stated today, on 20 April 2016, by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during the Tatarstan-Thuringia Economic Forum.

The main mission of the Prime Minister`s visit is participation in the Tatarstan-Thuringia Economic Forum to be held on 20 April 2016.
