On 25 April 2016, the meeting was held between top officials of the Ministry of Defence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, top executives of Ak Bars Holding Company, OAO Zelenodolsk Shipyard, etc.
Ildar Khalikov expressed his hope that the visit of the delegation from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka will become an impetus for cooperation not only with the Zelenodolsk Shipyard, but also with other Tatarstan industrial enterprises.
In turn, the representative of the Sri Lanka Ministry of Defence reminded that his country went through hard times and today is interested in the renovation of its existing fleet.
On 24 April 2016, delegation from the Sakhalin Oblast headed by Chairman of the Government of the Sakhalin Oblast Vera Shcherbina arrived to Tatarstan.
The Head of the Sakhalin Oblast Government was welcomed at the Kazan International Airport by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
Within their stay in Tatarstan, the Sakhalin Oblast delegation will have a meeting with Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
The delegation will visit a number of Tatarstan ministries and agencies, Educational and Laboratory Campus of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at the Kazan Federal University, Technopolis Himgrad, Regional Centre of Medical Science, IT-park, SEZ Alabuga, and Kazan Agro-Industrial Park.
On 23 April 2016, employees of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade headed by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the city volunteer clean-up.
Top officials and employees of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade took part in the residential care and tree planting.
On 22 April 2016, Zainsk hosted the offsite meeting of the Coordination Council of the Scientific and Educational Cluster in Energy Sector of the Kazan Power Engineering University. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
During the meeting, participants discussed issues of interaction between the KPEU Scientific and Educational Cluster and Siemens, approved the development programme of the Nizhnekamsk Polytechnic College for 2016-2018, discussed the issues of WorldSkills standards application at the Tatarstan energy sector, as well as the events within the forthcoming 85th Anniversary of Tatenergo.
On 22 April 2016, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the official opening ceremony of the Haier plant (refrigerating equipment manufacturer) at the KIP-Master.
The event was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russia’s President in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, President of Haier Corporation Hai Shan Liang, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeyev, and representatives of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
Then the honourable guests made a tour of production sites of the brand new enterprise and take a survey of the unique manufacturing equipment.
On 21 April 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and managing partner of Torrey Pines Investment (USA) Nikolay Savchuk.
During the meeting, parties discussed development of cooperation in pharmaceutics and healthcare. Torrey Pines Investment is planning to create a joint production of various innovation pharmaceutical products in Tatarstan.
On 21 April 2016, the Prototyping Centre of AO Digital Technology Centre (Kazan) has been visited by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artyom Zdunov, and top executives of industrial enterprises of the republic.
Ildar Khalikov and his accompanying persons made tour of the production sites of AO Digital Technology Centre.
21 April 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov has presented the Draft Law “On Industrial Policies in the Republic of Tatarstan” to deputies during the session of the Tatarstan State Council.
According to the Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the adoption of the Draft Law which is currently under consideration will allow to implement new stimulation measures stipulated by the Federal Law “On Industrial Policies in the Russian Federation”.
On 21 April 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting of the working group on elaboration of Schemes and Programmes of Electric Energy Sector Promising Development in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016-2021.
The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin, representatives of OAO Setevaya (Grid) Company, OAO Generating Company, OAO TGK-16, OOO Nizhnekamskaya Thermal Power Plant, ZAO TGK Urussinskaya Water Power Plant, and a branch OAO System Operator of the Unified Energy System Regional Dispatching Office of Tatarstan.
On 21 April 2016, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science and Kazan State Power Engineering University held a meeting on the implementation of organisational and technical measures aimed at reducing the consumption of energy and water resources in educational institutions of the republic.
During the meeting, the participants have discussed the issues of implementation of the State energy efficiency policies in the public sector and organisation of training courses for employees of Tatarstan educational institutions responsible for energy saving and enhancing energy efficiency in 2016.
