From 26 to 29 October 2016, Kazan will host the Composite Battle World Cup Kazan 2016.
Organisers of the Composite Battle World Cup Kazan 2016 are the Tatarstan Government, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Kazan National Research Technical University, the Moscow Composite Cluster, and the Union of Composites Manufacturers.
The contests will be held in two stages, federal and international ones.
Within the federal stage, Composite Battle Beginner will be held. Five teams of beginners will compete in making wakeboards.
Best teams from the federal stage of the Composite Battle will move to the international stage. Teams from Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, India, Germany, Myanmar, and Italy applied to participate in the international stage.
The finals of the Composite Battle World Cup Kazan 2016 will be held on 29 October 2016 in Ak Bars Wrestling Palace. At the final stage of the engineering contest, the competitors will make a quadcopter body.
25 October 2016 is the Day of Customs Officer. On 24 October 2016, within the project “Business and Authority: Straight Talk”, the meeting was held between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and entrepreneurs of Trans-Kama Region.
The meeting was attended by over 100 entrepreneurs from Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, and Bugulma.
During the meeting, parties discussed issues of supporting Tatarstan producers and activities on import substitution, as well as prospects for creating a territory of outstripping development in Nizhnekamsk, development of industrial sites, and other topical issues.
The organiser of the meeting within the project “Business and Authority: Straight Talk” is Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights under the Tatarstan President Timur Nagumanov.
On 21 October 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the official ceremony of opening the production line of highly-precise pressure sensors of KM35 brand (GKS company), which are designed for petrochemical enterprises.
The event was attended by Commercial Director for Company's Manufacturing Processes Automation at Siemens Gunther Haack, top executives of GKS Research and Production Enterprise, and representatives of Russian and Tatarstan petrochemical enterprises.
Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made tour of a production site and examined the process of assembling highly-precise pressure sensors of KM35 brand.
On 22 October 2016, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the regional stage of the 2nd Republic`s Festival-Contest “National Trademark”.
Organisers of the event are National Trademark State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama Region.
The aim of the event is to promote trademarks of Tatarstan’s manufacturers, support SMEs, and assist to development of business ties between manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.
The event was attended by over 30 producers of milk and meat products, confectionery, bakery products, and industrial goods and services.
From 21 to 22 October 2016, UNICS Culture and Sports Complex in Kazan hosted the 4th regional stage of the annual open Republic’s Working Youth Creativity TV Festival ‘Nashe Vremya – Beznen Zaman’.
Winners of the regional stage as a team are AO Tatenergosbyt, Kazan Aircraft Production Association, AO Tatspirtprom, AO Zelenodolsk Shipyard, OAO Generiruyushchaya (Generating) Company, PAO Kazan Helicopters, PAO Kazan Electrotechnical Plant, GAPOU Apastovo Agricultural College, and AO Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant.
On 21 October 2016, Technopark Idea hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and heads of departments and representatives of scientific and expert community of the republic.
Within the today’s meeting, representatives of scientific and educational community listened to a presentation of the Tatarstan industrial potential and the current situation at SEZ Alabuga and Technopark Idea. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Director General of ZAO Innovation and Production Technopark Idea Sergey Yushko, Director of Department for Corporate Issues at SEZ Alabuga Mikhail Mironov delivered their reports during the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, participants listened to a presentation of technical potential of Technopark Idea.
On 21 October 2016, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov. The meeting was dedicated to creation of new jobs to hire employees of ZAO TGK Urussinskaya Water Power Plant due to dissolution of the company.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Administration of Yutazinsky District, PAO Tatneft, and OOO NPF Paker.
On 21 October 2016, Innovation and Production Technopark Idea will host a meeting between heads of departments and representatives of scientific and expert community and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
The meeting will also be attended by representatives of SEZ Alabuga.
Within the event, representatives of scientific community may ask their questions to Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and identify areas for interaction.
At the end of the meeting, it is scheduled to make a presentation of Innovation and Production Technopark Idea.
On 20 October 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and delegates from Beijing-based Sanju, a joint stock company of new ecologic materials.
Tatarstan President noted that Sanju enjoys a good experience in developing oil processing technologies, petrochemicals, and production of catalysts.
During the meeting with top executives of Sanju, parties discussed various options for interaction. Particularly, guests from China presented their technology for processing heavy oil residues.
