The Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum opened at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.
The Forum is one of the largest international events of oil and gas industry in Russia. It is an effective platform for the exchange of ideas, discussion of key industry issues by Russian and foreign experts and the scientific community of the oil and gas industry, demonstration of the latest developments and technologies, and a meeting point for the industrial and business community.
Opening the forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the forum participants for their attention to the platform. “More than 150 companies are taking part here. There will be many interesting topics related to new challenges. I think that the events organised within the forum will be useful and interesting for the participants. I wish everyone fruitful work,” he said.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Mikhail Ivanov underlined that for many years the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum has been gathering major representatives of the fuel and energy sector, mechanical engineering and science. “Here topical issues of oil, gas, and chemical industry development, digitalisation and import substitution are discussed. I am sure that this year’s forum will also be held at a high professional level,” he added.
The Tatarstan OG&P Forum will last from August 31 to September 2.
