19 August 2021, Thursday

Enterprises participating in the Labour Productivity national project will be able to compete in the Process Factory contest within the first Innovation and Productivity Cup. Teams will have to qualify at the process factories under their Regional Competence Centres in Labour Productivity (RCCs).

As instructed by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, jointly with WorldSkills, will act as the organisers of the Innovation and Productivity Cup, which will be held as part of the national project. The event is co-organised by the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (FCC).

For the Innovators’ Cup, Process Factory will stand as a competitive platform where the participants will apply their accumulated knowledge of lean production tools in the real production process. Working as a team, professionals of the enterprises participating in the National Project will show their skills in optimising production processes, finding and eliminating bottlenecks.

The timetable for the regional qualifying stages will be drawn up after the applications for the Cup have been checked. The first Innovation and Productivity Cup will be held in Yekaterinburg on 25-29 October 2021 and will bring together over 200 participants and experts. The cases for the Cup have been developed based on challenges by experts from Rosatom, Roscosmos, and FCC.
