The Labour Productivity project has been amended in 2021 in regard to selection criteria for enterprises to participate in, support measures, participation formats, etc.
The criteria for selecting companies have become softer. From 2021 onwards, companies with revenues of RUB 400 million and more can take part in the project (the upper revenue threshold was removed), as well as companies with foreign capital participation of up to 50% (the permissible percentage was increased). However, the most serious change was the inclusion of trade in the list of priority sectors, which expands the republic’s target group by hundreds of businesses.
The envisaged formats of participation - with the support from the Federal Competence Centre, with the support from the Regional Competence Centre - were supplemented by the extended format of FCC support, which differs by creation of up to 2 sample streams and development of solutions in several functional areas.
The list of systemic support measures has been expanded by the rationalisation movement from WorldSkills Russia, which involves setting up corporate rationalisation and advance training centres to train company employees and participate in the Rationalisation and Productivity Cup.
Based on the dynamic growth in the number of participants of the national project in Tatarstan - at the moment, RCC exceeded the 2021 plan for involvement of enterprises by 110% - it can be concluded that innovations have an extremely positive impact on the implementation of the national project in the Republic.
