1 July 2021, Thursday

The methodological programme by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade entitled “Leaders of Infrastructure Development” will be launched in July 2021 in order to train professional management teams in the regions for the creation, development, and management of industrial parks and industrial technoparks. By the end of 2020, a total of 331 industrial parks and technoparks with an aggregate area of production facilities of over 13 million square metres are already in operation and being established in the Russian Federation. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade notes a high level of regional disparity in the location of production sites.

The basic module of the programme was developed by order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of the Russian Association of Clusters and Technoparks and the Russian Association of Industrial Parks.

Programme participants will be offered lectures and practical sessions with the heads of the most effective industrial sites, field sessions in the regions to learn about the activities of successful parks, and ongoing expert support in developing solutions for industrial infrastructure. The programme also provides for testing and defending individual projects by each management team for creating an industrial park or an industrial technopark in their regions.
