RMZ RariTEK has summarised the results of the first stage of the Labour Productivity national project. Yuri Shport, Director of RMZ RariTEK, and Shamil Bayramov, Head of the Regional Competence Centre, together with the project team toured the sample stream created as part of the Programme.
The team, together with the experts from the Regional Competence Centre managed to achieve impressive results: to reduce process time almost two times from 19680 minutes to 12000 minutes, to reduce the volume of unfinished products from 102 units to 50 units, to increase production output from 0.7 buses per day to 1 bus per shift, to reduce labour intensity of operations from 250 to 200 n/hour, to obtain economic effect of RUB 28 million, but what is the most important, to introduce continuous improvement culture, to involve staff in change making, to develop a capable, trained team to replicate the successes achieved.
At the final meeting, RCC Head Shamil Bayramov emphasised the scope and consistency of the work done, good results and a large number of improvements made in the sample stream. Director of RMZ RariTEK Yuri Shport presented the programme for replication of the results to other streams of the company. The best participants of the project working group were awarded with letters of gratitude and valuable prizes. The agreement was also reached on the use of the company site as a training base for teams of the companies that have just joined the Programme.
