The construction of the joint venture between Tatneft Group and Allur Group has been started today in Saran, Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Askar Mamin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the capsule laying ceremony.

Investment in the project will amount to $284 million. The plant construction is planned to be completed in 2022. Once it reaches capacity, it will produce 3 million passenger car tyres and 500,000 all-metal cord tyres.

Today, as part of the ceremony there was a live broadcast from Nizhnekamsk, where future employees of the plant are undergoing training at the Kama Tyres site.
