On November 24, the Kazan Energy College hosted the 3rd Republic’s Sectoral Professional Skills Contest among young energy sector workers of Tatarstan in Electrical Installations skills.
The sectoral contest based on WorldSkills international standards is held in order to improve the level of training, disseminate advanced work methods, and popularise blue-collar jobs among young people.
As an honoured guest, the opening of the 3rd Republic’s Sectoral Professional Skills Contest was attended by Evgeniya Katkova, Head of the Department of Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.
The contest task includes assembly of a power and lighting electrical equipment circuit and adjustment work after the participant has checked the assembled circuit.
All participants successfully coped with the contest task, which was assessed by certified and qualified experts who underwent special training.
At the award ceremony, Director of the Kazan Energy College Azat Khabibullin congratulated the participants with high professional skills and wished them further creative successes. The prize-winners were awarded diplomas, certificates of participation and memorable gifts, the rest of the participants were given certificates.
