Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in Russia visited Tatarstan

This week, Trade Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia Nurlan Borambaev paid a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of his work programme, Mr. Borambaev had a meeting with Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade German Lerner.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan spoke about the developments in the main republic’s industries: oil production, petrochemicals, and oil refining, as well as about the engineering cluster: helicopter and aircraft building, production of KAMAZ heavy trucks, shipbuilding, and others.

Nurlan Borambaev noted the need to strengthen ties between businesses of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan, and made suggestions for cooperation in agriculture.

The working visit of the Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in Russia continued with his visit to the IT Park and the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

On the second day of his visit, targeted meetings were held with representatives of Tatarstan companies.
