Today, following the Tatarstan Government meeting within the framework of the TEF 2019, the Agreement on Information Exchange in the Field of Renewable Energy Development was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and PAO Enel Russia.
The Agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and by head of Enel in Russia Carlo Palashano Villamagna.
The Agreement involves conducting a number of joint technical studies of environmental parameters (wind speed, temperature, atmospheric pressure) in order to identify opportunities for the renewable energy development in the region, based on the experience and knowledge of Enel Green Power, the Enel Group’s global unit for renewable energy sources.
In his speech at the Forum, Minister Karimov stressed that the republic pays great attention to the alternative energy development using renewable energy sources, in particular, based on wind energy.
Carlo Palashano Villamagna said: “This agreement expands our capabilities in the Tatarstan region, and we are pleased to continue the initiatives that have been launched to develop new energy projects.”
