Russian and Czech Ministers inspected machine-building exhibition in Kazan

As part of their working visit to Kazan, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková visited the 18th International Specialised Exhibition “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan on the premises of the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre. During a tour of the exhibition, the guests were accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Denis Manturov and Marta Nováková also met with participants of the WorldSkills Russia competition, which is taking place these days on the sidelines of the exhibition. Young professionals compete in four skills of WorldSkills and in two skills of WorldSkills Junior.

In addition, the ministers visited the display dedicated to the potential of the republic’s machine-building sector. Top executives of major Tatarstan production companies told the guests about the activities of their enterprises and interaction with Czech partners. Minister Nováková, in particular, was interested in the republic’s expertise of the natural gas engine technology development. She noted that in the Czech Republic, as in Europe in general, much attention is paid today to alternative fuels.
