Starting from 2019, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will provide, within the framework of the national project titled “SMEs and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, subsidies to management companies of industrial technology parks, both publicly and privately owned.

Subsidies will be provided for up to 2 years in the amount of up to RUB 500 million for the creation / reconstruction of municipal, industrial and technology infrastructure of industrial technology parks, as well as for the purchase of equipment for their residents. Industrial technoparks are an effective tool for managing the excess space at major industrial enterprises, and also allow meeting the demand of small and medium-sized businesses in equipped office, laboratory, and production premises.

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, it is planned to conduct a preliminary selection of applications from industrial technology parks. In order to inform representatives of existing and newly created industrial technoparks and potential investors, as well as to ensure high quality of preparing applications for subsidies, the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia, jointly with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will hold a workshop “Effective Technopark: Support Measures and Practical Solutions”. The workshop will be held on November 23, 2018 in the Congress Centre Technopolis Moscow within the framework of the 3rd Annual Applied Conference “Industrial Russia 4.0: Improving Regional Competitiveness”.
