Our Time - Beznen Zaman 2018 festival entered home stretch

A briefing was held today in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov, its main topic being the completion of the zonal qualifying rounds of the 6th Our Time - Beznen Zaman Annual Open Republic’s TV Festival of Working Youth Creativity. Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Damir Fattakhov, Executive Director at Culture Development Support Foundation under the Tatarstan President Nuriya Khashimova and Executive Director of “Our Time-Beznen Zaman” Festival Natalya Smirnova also answered journalists' questions.

The competitions of the 6th Festival enjoyed attendance of more than 800 contestants, representing over 170 organisations from different districts of Tatarstan. The Festival is open to individual performers, performance groups, as well as teams representing one organisation. The teams are composed of working young people aged 18 to 35, for whom music, dance, etc. are not professional activities.

The Festival is a TV show: all gala concerts are recorded and broadcasted on the TNV channel. Winners and laureates of the Festival are awarded with diplomas, memorable gifts, and cash prizes; the Grand Prix winner is awarded with Challenge Cup of the Tatarstan President and a cash prize of 250,000 roubles.
