Results of 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum

Last week, the 8th International Gas Forum was held in St. Petersburg. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by employees of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food, KAMAZ, and RariTEK Holding.

Manufacturers at the Gas Forum traditionally strives to demonstrate new vehicles, products and equipment for the gas sector. For instance, RariTEK presented its first eco-friendly and economical bus Lotos 105 fuelled by liquefied natural gas, the first model from the line of low-floor gas-driven buses 10.5 metres long.

The forum’s business programme was also intense, comprising such events as the international technology workshop titled “Gas Motor Fuel. Vehicle’s Safe Operation” and the Russian-Korean technology workshop “Gas Engine Fuel”, where representatives of leader companies exchanged expertise and demonstrated their latest developments in the field of gas fuel and LNG.

On October 4, the Gas into Motors 2018 international NGV rally finished up in St. Petersburg within the framework of the 8th International Gas Forum. In 2018, the rally became the world’s longest of its kind, claiming to be entering the Guinness Book of Records.
