Submissions for participation in the first stage of the strategic initiative Personnel of Tomorrow for Russia’s Regions are accepted till June 1, 2018.
According to it, talented school students aged 14 to 17 from seven regions of Russia will become the project’s participants.
The main goal of the project is forming regional leadership groups from talented and highly motivated children, youth, and their mentors (“regional development teams”). During the implementation of the initiative, it is planned to develop and statutorise mechanisms for motivated talent consolidation in participating regions (the vocational guidance system for children and youth, deferred employment contracts, employer-sponsored education, internships and training, dual education, etc.).
The initiative will be implemented in 4 phases. Phase one presupposes a competitive selection contest Focus of Attention, which will result in the list of project participants from seven regions of Russia. The second phase includes three-day study at the Governor School where students will acquire project activity skills. The formation of mentoring pairs will follow the selection of the best participants. The third phase is the implementation of individual programmes. This will provide the participants with real project activity experience. The last phase is presentation of the completed projects in international children’s centres within the framework of the all-Russian Mentor Forum.
The main organiser of this project is the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).
