On March 21, the premises of the German-Russian Institute of New Technologies (GRINT) saw the opening ceremony of the KAI-Keysight Laboratory of Computer-Aided Design Systems, jointly with the Keysight Technologies (USA).
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Almaz Khusainov and Principal at KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov, as well as representatives of Keysight Technologies.
Keysight Technologies is a recognised world’s leader in electronic test and measurement equipment and computer-aided design systems used in high-tech companies around the globe.
Keysight EEsof Electronic Design Automation provides an end-to-end development cycle of radio-electronic and info-communication equipment, that is, concept creation, development of system-level functions (SystemVue), development of RF and microwave components and devices, high-speed digital modules (ADS), development of printed circuit boards and design (Genesys), full-scale modelling, unique 3D electromagnetic and temperature analysis.
The KAI-Keysight Laboratory is designed to become a base site for training students in all relevant areas of bachelor’s, specialist's, and master’s programmes, arranging retraining and advanced training courses for experts at high-tech enterprises (strategic partners of KNRTU-KAI), and conducting R&D activities.
