Textile facilities opened in Nurlat District

On December 23, the opening ceremony of the Tyrnyasevo industrial site took place on the former premises of the Tyurnyasevo distillery; one of its residents is the Nurtrade sewing workshop.

Nurtrade started the development of garments made of Uzbek cotton for children and adults, bed linen and workwear for various enterprises, creating more than 30 new jobs with a prospect of increasing their number up to 180.

The capacity of the up-to-date production equipment at the sewing workshop will allow producing up to 45,000 knitted garments and up to 9,000 workwear garments a month. The products will be delivered to Samara, Orenburg, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia.

The opening ceremony of the sewing workshop was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, head of the Nurlat District Ravil Kuzyurov, founder of Nurtrade Khusan Agzamov, and head of the Tyurnyasevo rural settlement Sergey Belov.

The industrial development in the country is conducted in accordance with one of the May 2012 decrees by the Head of State (No. 596 “On State Long-Term Economic Policies”).
