The 50-millionth tonne of crude oil was processed today at the TANECO refinery. The raw materials processed also included 1.5 million tonnes of third-party vacuum gas oil, 40,000 tonnes of gas condensate, and 31,000 tonnes of residual fuel oil.
The first products of the TANECO Complex of Oil Refining and Petrochemical Facilities in Nizhnekamsk were received on the night of December 30 to 31, 2010. In December 2011, the plant for primary oil refining was put into commercial operation. In 2016, the delayed coking facility was launched, eliminating the fuel oil from the portfolio of the company’s products.
Current indicators of the TANECO Complex are 8.7 million tonnes of annually processed feedstock, processing depth of 99.2%, and 87% of light oil products. At the moment, the Complex produces about 20 types of commercial products.
Further development of TANECO is associated with the deepening of oil refining and the increase in the volume of raw materials processed. Alongside with the operation of existing units, construction of new production facilities continues. In the coming months, it is planned to commission hydro-treatment units for naphtha, kerosene, diesel fuel, and isomerisation of light naphtha. The commissioning of ELOU-AVT-6 unit and the launch of the EURO-5 gasoline production at the TANECO Refinery will be other milestones to be reached in 2018.
