In 2016, the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (“SME Corporation”) developed and put into operation the SMEs Business Navigator, which is made as a comprehensive reference resource for emerging or currently existing small or medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
With the help of the SME Business Navigator, you can choose the best type of business and determine the best location for opening it, calculate your own business plan based on typical business plans drawn from real business practices, learn about market research of demand and supply for various goods and services and availability of competitors, obtain information on credit products, governmental support measures, and procurement plans for major publicly owned customers. The system also contains a database of public and private real estate properties offered for rent or for sale, as well as expressly indicated governmental and municipal properties, which is intended for allocation to SMEs.
To date, the Business Navigator SME covers 169 cities of the Russian Federation with a population of more than 100,000 people and capitals of certain regions in the Russian Federation, including major cities of Tatarstan, such as Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, and Almetyevsk.
