During the corporate holidays, the repair teams at KAMAZ enterprises have repaired a number of production equipment units. For two weeks, more than 530 pieces of equipment were repaired, of which almost 45 were in the category of especially important ones. In total, 1800 people were involved in the repair jobs.
At the automotive plant, the reconstruction of the overhead pusher conveyor began on August 7. After repairs, the OPC coverage area has been expanded, and the controllers have also been upgraded. The reconstruction of the conveyor line is planned to be fully completed in January, so the flow of cabs will thus far go along a by-pass route. Also, the plant continues to draw down its production premises. This time, it has been possible to move, install and run more than 50 pieces of equipment in a small series workshop, mainly CNC machines and machining centres.
Similar work has been done during the company holidays at the engine plant too – within the framework of the Tibet Project, the repair teams moved the machines and arranged them into more efficient production streams.
