POZIS Company (part of the Tecmash Concern under the Rostec Corporation) and RT-SotsStroy signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by Director General of POZIS Radik Hasanov and Director General of RT-SotsStroy Dmitry Demin. Within the joint work, it is planned to cooperate in the sphere of engineering and equipping medical facilities. Special attention will be paid to production of pharmaceutical and laboratory refrigerators for blood storage and vaccines, as well as medical freezers.

The agreement aims to develop long-term and efficient cooperation in order to provide and equip building facilities.

“Thanks to unique technical solutions, POZIS medical refrigeration equipment enables us to guarantee consumers high quality and functionality with confidence. The company’s products meet all quality requirements, are environmentally safe, and are certified according to EU standards”, said Radik Hasanov, Director General of POZIS.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov held a meeting today with Nikolai Shestakov, Vice President and Director General of OOO Emerson.

Emerson is a major multinational corporation headquartered in Missouri (USA).  The company manufactures equipment, provides technology solutions and engineering for industrial, commercial and consumer markets. Emerson has over 200 manufacturing facilities, three quarters of which are outside the United States.

In Russia, Emerson is represented by Emerson sales and service company OOO Emerson and production complex PG Metran in Chelyabinsk. The company actively cooperates with Russian universities, design institutes, engineering and technical centres of major industrial enterprises and conducts its own developments.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including the issue of localising OOO Emerson in the PSEDA Zelenodolsk. The company plans to develop this initiative in partnership with the Innovation Technical Centre.

Interest in cooperation with the company was shown by such Tatarstan’s enterprises as Tatenergo, TANECO, TAIF-NK, Kazanorgsintez, and Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

The 5th stage of the Youth Ambassadors contest “Made in Tatarstan” finished today in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. The meeting with participants was chaired by German Lerner, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.

On March 24, within the framework of this stage, tasks for the Made in Tatarstan stage were announced to contestants. They had to prepare a presentation on the best practices in the development of exports of industrial products.

During today’s meeting, the following teams presented their projects: “Astra”, “Messengers”, “Zilant”, “Power of Youth”, “Potok” and “Kyzlar Space”.

The contestants’ presentations were evaluated according to 4 criteria:

1. Availability of analytical information, its reliability and thoroughness;

2. Relevance of the proposed ideas to Tatarstan;

3. Creative solutions and ideas;

4. Teamwork and social media activities.

The contest will be held from 20 October 2020 to 30 April 2021. The event consists of 8 stages; in each, participants were given new practical tasks for which they are rewarded with points. According to the results, the team that successfully scores the highest number of points will be entitled to an internship abroad and the opportunity to represent Tatarstan in the international arena.

Sollers Ford will deliver more than 160 new comfortable shuttle buses to Moscow Transport for urban passenger transportation. The first 7 buses will be on the route at the end of 2020 and the others will hit the streets of Moscow in early summer.

The Ford Transit small buses have been specially created for the Moscow Transport Complex and meet the strict Moscow regulations concerning safety and comfort of passenger transportation.

These buses are used on routes in narrow streets, where larger vehicles find it difficult to pass. This makes it possible to provide the citizens of Moscow with comfortable and safe transport in any city conditions.

The new comfortable Ford Transit buses are designed for carrying 18 seated and 4 standing passengers, and are equipped with a place for disabled passengers with an armrest at the sliding door. All seats are forward-facing; the fabric upholstery is in the branded pattern of the Moscow Transport.

Production of Ford Transit is established at the Sollers Ford plant in Yelabuga on the full cycle technology that enables to offer Russian customers a modern product, fully customised to buyers and adapted to the Russian conditions at a competitive price.

The first Rationalisation and Productivity Cup (further, the Cup) will be held in Yekaterinburg in autumn 2021. The event will be held as part of the 8th National Competition of High-Tech Cross-Industry Skills.

It was decided to hold the Rationalisation and Productivity Cup 2021 on October 25 to 29 in Yekaterinburg. The Cup will be a competitive platform for employees of enterprises participating in the national project to improve and increase the efficiency of their production processes. The contest will identify the achievements and best practices of the strongest representatives of companies in improving the efficiency of their production processes, which can then be used by other participants in the national project.

Cooperation agreements were signed at the meeting between the Professional Skills Development Agency (WorldSkills Russia) and the companies participating in the national project. The agreements were signed by Russian Railways, Rimera, R-Pharm, Technonikol, Roscosmos Corporation, and Sibur.

The Cup’s organising committee meeting was also attended by Nikolay Solomon, Director General of the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity, and the heads of the constituent entities of the country participating in the Labour Productivity national project.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted today a videoconference meeting between the co-chairmen of the Working Group for Cooperation Development between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Khurram Teshabayev discussed current issues and promising areas of bilateral cooperation in various spheres.

In particular, the parties discussed holding the second meeting of the Working Group for Cooperation Development between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan during the visit of Tatarstan’s delegation to Uzbekistan.

Participants of the videoconference expressed hope that the event would open a series of face-to-face meetings for further development of trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan.

From March 25 to 27, 2021 the Ot Winta! (Off We Go!) Scientific and Technical Festival is held in Krasnodar.  Under the motto “Modelling the Future”, young and talented engineers and researchers gathered at the Expograd Yug Exhibition and Congress Centre. More than 500 projects in the fields of aviation, shipbuilding, robotics, medicine, culture, sports, etc. will be presented at the festival. Entrance for participants and guests is free.

Tatarstan, with a biogas unit development, was represented by Danila Danilov, a student of the Kazan State Agrarian University in the Agroecology Department and a winner of numerous project contests.

This alternative energy project can be useful in all situations where conventional energy sources are not available. Biogas is an environmentally friendly fuel which does not depend on weather conditions and can steadily provide the user with energy.

Another project, “Youth Model Complexes and Spaceports” is presented by a team from the Orthodox Gymnasium named after St. Gury of Kazan. They present the concept of youth space modelling centres aimed at becoming centres of attraction for young engineers and designers all over the country and popularising the achievements of Russian and international cosmonautics and astronautics.

The Kazan State Power Engineering University hosted a meeting of the Scientific and Technology Council of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan on the issues of Tatarstan’s power sector development.

The event was held in a mixed format via video conferencing. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Marat Minibaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing of Tatarstan Ildus Nasyrov, Director of the Tatarstan Energy Saving Technology Centre Marat Akhmerov, as well as representatives of leading companies from the republic and Russia. The university was represented at the meeting by a representative team, from the principal to the heads of the relevant departments.

While opening the meeting, Marat Minibayev emphasised that the meeting was attended by energy professionals not only from Tatarstan, but from other Russian regions as well. Eight speakers addressed the meeting on topical energy issues.

Each presentation aroused great interest of the participants, who asked questions and engaged in discussion.

At the end of the event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Marat Minibaev thanked the speakers for high-quality presentations, all participants for their activity and constructive suggestions, and the power engineering university for the provided platform.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner had a videoconference meeting today with Rustam Zhiganshin, Russian Trade Representative to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of industrial enterprises of Tatarstan.

In the course of the videoconference, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of further development of bilateral trade and economic relations with the assistance of the Russian trade mission in Iran with a view to promoting Tatarstan-made products in the Iranian market.

During the meeting, representatives of Tatarstan’s industrial enterprises spoke about their companies and presented their products. Rustam Zhiganshin answered each exporter’s questions in detail and explained how the Russian Trade Representative Office in Iran is ready to assist in establishing business contacts.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner met today with participants of the Republic’s Youth Ambassadors Contest. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a part of the Made in Tatarstan contest.

The Youth Ambassadors contest is held in Kazan from October 20 to April 30, 2021. Its aim is to popularise international programmes of Tatarstan among young people, spread the basics of diplomatic communication and reveal talented youth in the sphere of diplomacy.

German Lerner informed the contestants about the main areas of the Ministry’s activities in terms of foreign economic cooperation with the CIS and non-CIS countries, about the industrial potential in the republic, as well as about the demand for Tatarstan’s products in the international market and answered contestants’ questions.

Also during the meeting, the leading expert of Department for Presentation Activities and Industrial Exports Promotion of the Ministry Marsel Yanyshev presented the Made in Tatarstan information portal.

At the end of the event, tasks for the Made in Tatarstan phase were announced to the contestants. The contestants have to prepare a presentation on the best practices of industrial exports development.
