The production of the isomerate product – a high-octane gasoline component with improved environmental properties – was launched at the TANECO oil-refining complex of Tatneft.

TANECO has obtained the opinion by the Volga Rostekhnadzor Administration on the compliance of the combined naphtha isomerisation unit and the naphtha splitter section with the requirements of technical regulations and design documentation.

We remind that on January 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, commanded in the videoconference mode to start the operation of new TANECO production facilities for in-depth oil refining, that is, naphtha hydro-treatment and isomerisation units.

The light naphtha isomerisation unit is designed for processing 420,000 tonnes of pentane-hexane fraction a year. The production facility meets all up-to-date requirements of environmental and industrial safety. The high-octane component of commercial gasoline is produced under the domestic Izomalk-2 technology developed by NPP Neftekhim (Krasnodar).
