The mechanism approved under the Russian Government Resolution No. 634 of May 25, 2017 is aimed at solving the problem related to the market launch of pilot equipment lots in the absence of references and operational experience and implies compensation of up to 50% of expenditures actually incurred for feedstock, materials and components, engineering development and design, procurement of tooling and consumables, logistics, etc.

Organisations invited to participate in the selection process are actors in the sphere of manufacturing industry. Applications for participation in the selection process are to be considered between May 14 and May 31, 2018.

In accordance with the “new” Rules for granting subsidies (as approved by the Russian Government Resolution No. 634 of May 25, 2017), organisations should have a completed page in the State Information System of Manufacturing Industry (GISP).

On May 14, the Tatarstan President took part in an opening ceremony of OOO MMK-Coskunoz-Alabuga, a new service metal centre at the SEZ Alabuga. The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Board at the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works Viktor Rashnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Aleksandr Morozov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Chelyabinsk Oblast Governor Boris Dubrovsky, President of JV Ford Sollers Adil Shirinov, Director of the Metallurgy and Materials Department at the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Pavel Servatinsky, and others.

The investment project of MMK-Coskunoz Alabuga in the territory of the SEZ Alabuga suggests the production of steel blanks for stamped body parts intended for Ford-branded vehicles manufactured both in Russia and abroad.

The project initiators are the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, the largest metallurgical plant in the Russian Federation, and the Coskunoz Alabuga, a manufacturer of stamped steel parts for the automotive industry. OOO Coskunoz Alabuga is a resident of the SEZ Alabuga.

Today, the SEZ Alabuga Corporate University hosted a seminar for representatives of large enterprises in Tatarstan, dedicated to the introduction of advanced managerial and educational technologies by the Alabuga Corporate University. The seminar was attended by more than a hundred representatives of Tatarstan’s industrial and commercial enterprises. It was held following the instructions given by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Joint Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade on February 27 this year.

The seminar saw the presentation of the SEZ Alabuga Corporate University and highlighted the issues of its establishment, achievements, and opportunities. A number of SEZ residents, such as Armstrong Building Products, Ford Sollers Yelabuga, and Belaya Dacha Alabuga, shared their expertise in solving managerial, educational, and personnel issues.

Following the seminar, an award ceremony of the All-Russian Engineer of the Year contest 2017 was held.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov awarded 32 representatives of Tatarstan’s industrial enterprises with certificates of merit and valuable gifts from the Ministry.

On May 12 and 13, the Speed March, a Republic’s tourist & adventure event organised by the Youth Union of Tatarstan Enterprises and Organisations was held in the vicinity of the Bima village on the Miesha River.

The event also comprised an amateur fishing contest among the working youth of Tatarstan’s enterprises and organisations. For the second year, this contest is conducted under the supervision of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This year, the contest was held on May 13. Participants included the working youth of industrial enterprises, such as the Nizhnekamsk Hydroelectric Station, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, Remdizel, the Kazan Helicopters, the Naberezhnye Chelny CHP, the Kazan Aircraft Plant, and others.

Vnesheconombank Chairman Sergey Gorkov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov visited today OOO Eidos-Medicine at Technopark Idea where they took a look at the company's activities and the process of developing medical simulators.

The developer and full-scale manufacturer of medical simulators is the largest resident of the Skolkovo Biomedical Cluster, the winner of the All-Russian National Entrepreneurship Award Business Success 2015, and the initiator of the Centre for Medical Science (Kazan). The company's products are well known both in Russia and abroad.

In the period of June 7 to 10, the Kursk region will host the 7th Central Russian Economic Forum and the 18th interregional universal wholesale and retail fair titled Kursk Korenskaya Fair 2018.

The planned theme of the forum is Towards a Knowledge Economy. The forum’s programme comprises a plenary session, thematic workshops, and an exhibition of investment and innovation projects.

The Kursk Korenskaya Fair is a presentation platform that covers the real sector of the economy, including all segments of manufacturing industry, transport and communications, building sector and construction industry, agro-industrial complex, banking and insurance activities, as well as the humanitarian components, such as education and science, sports, tourism, folk arts and crafts.

In order to encourage the creative activities of metrologists at enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan, enhance their level of qualification and professional competence, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Centre for Standardisation, Metrology, and Certification announce that the Republic’s contest Best Goods and Services in Tatarstan will also be held in the sub-category of The Best Metrologist of Tatarstan in 2018 under the category of Substantial Contribution to the Development of High-Quality Products and Rendered Services.

The winners of the contest will be awarded relevant diplomas, The Best Metrologist of Tatarstan 2018. Information about the contest winners will be posted on the websites of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Centre for Standardisation, Metrology, and Certification.

To participate in the contest, the enterprise should send to the TCSMC a cover letter and a reference questionnaire for a professional in the metrology service in accordance with the annex of The Best Metrologist of Tatarstan to the approved Regulations on the Republic’s contest Best Goods and Services in Tatarstan.

Current and retired employees of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade took part in the republic’s environmental event Forest Planting Day and Clean Forests of Tatarstan. Young fir trees were planted in the territory of the Laishevsky District and the forest was cleaned up.

The event has been organised by the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and the Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry within the framework of the Year of Volunteer in the Russian Federation.

The aims of this event is fostering an attitude of care towards forests, attracting public attention to the problems of their preservation, reproducing and augmenting forest resources, as well as creating a favourable environmental setting for the forests located in the territory of Tatarstan.

The visit to the Republic of Belarus continues. Yesterday, the Tatarstan delegation visited Belkommunmash, AMKODOR, and Belneftekhim organisations to discuss prospects for further cooperation.

Today, the work of the Tatarstan delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. Co-chaired by him from Tatarstan and by Belneftekhim Chairman Igor Lyashenko from Belarus, the Sixth Meeting of the Belarus-Tatarstan working group was held dedicated to the issues of developing cooperation between the parties.

On April 27th and 28th, the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies under KNITU-KAI hosted the strategic session titled Digital Transformation in Industry of Tatarstan held under the authority of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The event organisers are the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Centre for Strategic Research North-West Foundation.

The opening of the session is attended by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin. The session's moderator is Board Chairman of the Centre for Strategic Research North-West Foundation Vladimir Knyaginin.

Digitalisation leaders will share their expertise on the implementation of digital transformation projects with the republic’s industrial enterprises.

The participants will discuss digitalisation challenges for the Tatarstan’s manufacturing industry and relevant response options, will identify potential digital transition projects, including the main steps for their implementation with due account for the development priorities in Tatarstan.

The strategic session outcomes will be presented to the republic’s leadership and will also be used for the development of the Digital Tatarstan programme.
