The full-scale production of MV-500 aircraft for agricultural purposes is planned to be organised in the republic. Today, the preparatory activities for laying the stone in the construction of the MB-500 (T-500) airplane assembly shops were discussed at a working group meeting chaired by Minister Karimov. The meeting also dealt with the transfer ceremony of 10 aircraft of MV-500 (T-500) model. Events are scheduled for the second half of May of this year with the participation of top officials from the republic and Rostec.

MV-500 is an up-to-date aircraft for aerial application. It has a composite glider and can be operated in different climatic conditions. The aircraft is equipped with a high-speed parachute system, which allows for the rescue of the aircraft with the crew. It can be used for environmental monitoring (especially during fire season), inspection of large industrial facilities, weather control, forest pest control, and petroleum products spill response.

The aircraft will be sold under the brand name T-500.

On September 6, 2018, the aircraft received a type certificate and became the first certified agricultural aircraft in the history of contemporary Russia.

Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with executives of the Sevinçler İnşaat from the Republic of Turkey. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister German Lerner. During the conversation, the Chairman of the company's Board, Abdulbari Sevinç, said: “We completely trust the leadership of Tatarstan, we are interested in this region for starting production and expanding supplies to Russia and to neighbouring countries”.

During their first visit to Tatarstan, company’s representatives are considering the opportunity of placing production in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, and they are also curious about trade agreements of Tatarstan with CIS countries, customs duties, and tax treatment procedures.

The company was founded in 2010 and produces baby diapers, wet wipes, baby cosmetics, powders, shampoos, sanitary pads, adult diapers and other hygiene products.

It has a factory in Gaziantep with an area of ​​20,000 square metres and an annual output of 500 million pieces. Products are exported to 70 countries. The company’s annual turnover is US$ 40 million.

Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted the first Organising Committee meeting of the Republic’s Annual Open TV Festival of Working Youth Creativity “Our Time – Beznen Zaman” chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. The meeting was attended by members of the Organising Committee, Director of the Traffic Safety Establishment Rifkat Minnikhanov (team leader of the two-time Grand Prix Festival winner in 2017-2018), and representatives of four municipal districts of Tatarstan, where the festival’s zonal qualifying rounds will take place.

The meeting discussed organisational issues for the festival in 2019, worked out an action plan, the jury composition and the festival regulations, as well as further ideas for improving this movement. This year, the organisers are striving to remove age limits responding to the wishes of the participants themselves. It is assumed that the participants may now include talented employees of Tatarstan’s enterprises in the age category of 40+.

The start of the festival was announced at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the activists of the “Our Time – Beznen Zaman” movement in February 2019. The applications for the 7th Republic’s Annual Open TV Festival of Working Youth Creativity will be accepted this year until September 25, 2019.

Today, Kazan hosted a regular meeting of the Tatneft Board of Directors chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The agenda included reporting the budget performance in 1Q 2019 and approving the budget for May of this year.

The meeting participants heard information on the results of the Company’s financial and economic activities in 2018. Over the past year, a total of 29,192,000 tonnes of crude oil were produced at its fields, including 1,949,000 tonnes of highly viscous oil. Some 445 new production and 296 injection wells were put into operation. The 2018 volume of collected associated petroleum gas was 923 million cubic metres.

Net revenues (excluding VAT, export duties and excise tax) from product sales were RUB 793.2 billion and net income, RUB 197.5 billion. The sum of accruals for payments to the budgets of all levels, including taxes and other payments, amounted to RUB 486 billion in 2018, which is RUB 166.1 billion higher than in the same period last year due to increased mineral extraction tax and income tax payments.

The Board of Directors considered the issue of a representative office of Tatneft in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is expected to be opened in the city of Nurafshon (the administrative centre of the Tashkent region).

On April 24-26, a three-day training of coaches for regional centres of competence was held on the premises of Vacuummash. The training course takes place within the framework of the National Project titled “Increasing Labour Productivity and Supporting Employment”.

The Project aims to develop effective measures to increase productivity, disseminate knowledge in this area, and to promote interest in increasing productivity from enterprises and regional authorities.

The training at Vacuummash was attended by RCC representatives from five regions, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Perm, Samara, Tula, and Tyumen oblasts, as well as representatives of regional enterprises. Within the training process, experts should acquire information on the use of lean manufacturing tools, such as Value Stream Mapping, Quick Changeover, Standardised Work, etc.

The training was organised with the support from the Tatarstan-based Vacuummash and the Tatarstan Regional Centre of Competence for Increasing Labour Productivity.

Today, on the sidelines of the 11th International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019”, a working meeting was held between Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Russian Federation Ihab Nasr.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation and the potential of expanding cooperation between enterprises of the two republics. It should be said that the 2018 foreign trade turnover between the republics amounted to US$ 20.9 million.

 

On April 25, a Russian-Indonesian business forum was held in Kazan as part of the 11th International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019” with the participation of Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Ambassador of Indonesia to the Russian Federation M. Vahid Supriyadi.

The forum discussed the development of joint cooperation, including the same within the framework of expanding foreign trade turnover between Tatarstan and Indonesia.

In recent years, economic relations between the countries have developed in various areas of product exports and imports. In 2018, the foreign trade turnover of Tatarstan with Indonesia amounted to more than UD$ 46 million.

Indonesian experts touched upon the issues of cooperation and partnership in the field of “halal economy”, as well as the potential of investment in special economic zones of the republic.

 

 

On April 26, a workshop will be held in the Technopolis Himgrad on the participation of republic’s companies in support programmes implemented by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises. The Foundation provides financial support to small innovative enterprises of Tatarstan that commercially develop the results of R&D and design activities carried out using their own resources, subject to winning the contests held by the Foundation.

During the workshop, main programmes of the Foundation will be presented:

  • Start” programme aimed at creating new and supporting existing small innovative companies (grant amount depend on the stage, RUB 2 to 4 million);
  • Development” programme providing grants to small innovative enterprises for funding their R&D activities within the framework of innovative projects (grant amount up to RUB 20 million, subject to 100% co-financing);
  • Commercialisation” programme aimed at providing grants for financial support of costs associated with the implementation of innovative projects with commercialisation prospects (grant amount up to RUB 15 million, subject to 100% co-financing);
  •  “Cooperation” programme aimed at supporting the innovation activities of small businesses within the framework of their interaction with large companies (industrial partners) (grant amount up to RUB 25 million, subject to 100% co-financing from a small business and/or industrial partner).

The workshop will be held on April 26, 2019 at Technopolis Himgrad.

Today, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ildar Mingaleyev attended the ceremony of laying the keel of the tenth special-purpose boat of Project 21980. The event was held at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard.

The special-purpose boats of Project 21980 have been built at the enterprise since 2008. To date, the shipyard has already handed over 9 vessels of this project to the public procurement authorities.

According to the developer, these special-purpose boats are designed to protect the water areas around the naval bases of the Russian Navy. Their state-of-the-art equipment and high seaworthy characteristics allow them to solve a wide range of tasks peculiar to ships of much greater displacement.

Honoured guests were granted the right to install a builder’s plate to the hull of the vessel.

The event also included the award ceremony for the shipyard’s employees who made a significant contribution to the construction and commissioning of ships for the Russian Navy.

The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises announced the call for applications for the NTI Development Contest aimed at supporting the implementation of the National Technology Initiative action plans (NTI roadmaps) in eight areas: Aeronet, Autonet, Neuronet, Energinet, Marinet, Healthnet, Technet and the Circle movement.

Projects are selected on the basis of R&D focus on priority thematic areas formulated by NTI working groups for each roadmap, with account for technology barriers, a list of which can be found at http://www.nti2035.ru/technology.

The Contest is intended for small innovative enterprises that successfully produce their own high-tech products, have a positive financial and economic history and protected intellectual property on project themes. The maximum grant amount is RUB 20 million, subject to extra-budgetary co-financing of at least 30% of the grant.

Applications for the Contest are accepted until May 27, 2019 through the Foundation’s automated system at http://online.fasie.ru.
