On 8 to 10 December 2009, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov as a member of the Tatarstan delegation is visiting Austria. A number of business meetings took place, Memorandum of Cooperation between the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the Republic of Tatarstan was signed.
On 9 December 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting with the head of Finpro, a centre of commerce under the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Moscow Mr. Ilpo Hanhisalo. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister Oleg Vlasov.
On 7 December 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of Canada in Moscow headed by Trade Commissioner Steven Basadur. The meeting was held by First Deputy Minister Vladimir Solovyev. The parties exchanged information and planned further lines of cooperation.
On 3 December 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Deputy Minister Farit Tuktarov and representatives of the EBARA Corporation of Japan. The parties discussed results of the visit to Tatarstan and planned prospects of cooperation.
