On February 03, 2010 Tatarstan-Finland Business Forum was held in Kazan with participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of the Republic of Finland Paavo Väyrynen, representatives of businesses.

Visit of the delegation from the Republic of Finland headed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen started on February 2, 2010. Within the program of the visit there is Business Forum, target meetings of the business representatives, visit of enterprises, session of the joint Tatarstan-Finland working group for trade and economic cooperation.

On 28 January 2010 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade €630 thousand value agreement was signed between OOO Ak Bars Metal and French company «Vernet Behringer» for delivery of drilling machines.

On 25 January 2010 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting took place with the representatives of Craftsman Consortium of Bologna (Italy). The parties exchanged the information and discussed possible lines of cooperation. Deputy Minister Artur Fatykhov presided.

On 21 January 2010 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting took place on the results of the visit to the Republic of Tatarstan of “Hempel Group”, Denmark. Deputy Minister Farit Tuktarov presided.

On 20 January 2010 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a preparatory meeting took place between Deputy Minister Mr. Fatykhov with the representatives of Finnish construction company “Parastek”. The parties exchanged views and discussed promising outlooks of cooperation.

On 18 January 2010, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted the meeting between Minister Ravil Zaripov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland in the Russian Federation Matti Anttonen. The parties discussed possible lines of cooperation.

On 18 January 2010, a contract has been signed in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan between OAO Kazan Electrotechnical Works (KETZ) and OOO Aynes Systems on the development and introduction of the automated production control system at KETZ. The event was held with the participation of Minister Ravil Zaripov.

On 25 December 2009, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Artur Fatykhov met with Regional Director of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce Rinat Islamov. The parties exchanged information and discussed organisational issues.

On 24 December 2009, a meeting took place in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan with Director General of OOO Tatarstan-Azerbaijan Trade House Khalidin Hasanov. The meeting was conducted by Deputy Minister Artur Fatykhov.
