On 6 December 2010, new First Deputy Minister, Igor Nosov, was introduced to the executives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. He will supervise the issues of foreign economic activities.

On 6 December 2010, a meeting between Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Sales and Marketing Vice-President of OAO AvtoVAZ Artyem Fedosov was held in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. Director General of OAO KAN-AvtoVAZ Aleksander Kolesov also took part in the meeting. The parties discussed current issues and prospects for cooperation

On 3 December 2010, a presentation of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Moscow for the members of American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, and other representatives of Ministries, organizations and enterprises of the Republic participated in this event.

The Russia-Turkey Business Forum “Strategy for Innovative Development of Automotive Components Industrial Cluster in the Russian Federation“has opened in Kazan in October 20, 2010.The goal of the event is to discuss possible areasfor cooperation with Turkish companies in the field of auto components production, to attract potential Turkish investors to establishauto component production for Russian enterprises of automotive industry in the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Delegation of the Free State of Saxony (FRG) led by Deputy Prime Minister, State Minister for Economic Affairs, Employment & InfrastructureMr. Sven Morlok, is visiting Tatarstanin October 19 - 20, 2010. The delegation includes officials and about 50 businessmen representing auto making, aircraft making, and chemical production for construction industry.The program of the visit includes Tatarstan- Saxony Business Forum, 6th Session of Tatarstan-Saxony working group, visiting of enterprises.

In October 18, 2010 in Moscow Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, RavilZaripov, and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Martin Kocourek, have signed a Letter of Intentin the sphere of trade and economic cooperation between the Ministries.

In October 13, 2010 meeting of a working group for cooperation between enterprises of Tatarstan and Siemens companywas held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Mr.Ildar Mingaleyev.

In October 11, 2010 Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov met with Mr.Mamadou Saliu Diufa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal tothe Russian Federation. Theparties made mutual presentation of industrial and investment potential and discussed possibleareasfor cooperation.

On August 17, 2010 Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov met the coordinator of UNIDO projects in the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Mariev. The parties discussed plans for further cooperation.

On August 16-18, 2010 Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov took part in the arrangements under the visit of the delegation from Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nazargula Shagaluev.
