Monday
On December 13 -14, 2010 visiting Kazan is the French Delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Russian Federation, Mr. Jean de Gliniasty. On December 13 at 16.30 in Congress Hall of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce (18, Pushkin St.) business circles’ representatives of the French delegation and the managers of Tatarstan enterprises shall meet for B2B meetings. Given will be a presentation on trade, economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On December 12-13, 2010 a delegation of the Volgograd Region led by Head of Authority, Anatoliy Brovko, will pay a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. Programme of the visit includes a meeting with President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and visits to ministries and organizations, sport and culture facilities.

On December 9, 2010 held was a joint session of Nanotechnology Association of Russia and Republican Interdepartmental Commission for Nanoindustry Development of Tatarstan at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center (Main Pavilion, White Hall). At the session summed up were the outcome of the conference “Nanotechnologies in Industry” and participants will be awarded “Nanotechnologies.Kazan-2010” exhibition certificates.
On December 9, 2010 opening ceremony of information – business mission “St. Petersburg – Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan” took place in Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce. Among the participants were Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of executive bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, the Kazan administration and entrepreneurs.
On December 9, 2010 in the Ministry of industry and trade a meeting took place with the Lodz province delegation led by the Advisor to Lodz voevoda (governor) Mr. Zygmund Lodzinsky. The meeting was chaired by the Head of department for coordination of international economic relations Guzel Shaikhullina. The parties exchanged information and discussed prospects for cooperation.

On December 8, 2010 within the scopes of 11th International Specialized Exhibition “Nanotechnologies.Kazan 2010” was signed an Agreement on a strategic cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Optogan Group. The document was signed by the RT Minister of Industry and Trade, Ravil Zaripov, and by President of Optogan Group, Maksim Odnoblyudov. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, attended the signing ceremony.
On December 8, 2010 First Deputy Minister, Igor Nosov, met with Head of Trade Exchange Development Department of the Embassy of Italy in Russia, RobertoPelo. The parties exchanged with information and discussed the prospects for cooperation.
On 8 December 2010, at 10.00 a.m., an official opening ceremony of the 2nd International Specialized Exhibition “Nanotechnologies. Kazan 2010” and 11th International Research and Practice Conference “Nanotechnologies in Industry” will be held at Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre (Pavilion No.1).

On December 8 – 10, 2010 X International Specialized Exhibition “Machine building. Metalworking. Kazan” and V Specialized Exhibition “TechnoSvarka” are underway at Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center (Pavilion No.5).
On 7 December 2010, First Deputy Minister Igor Nosov met with Plenipotentiary Representative of the Saxony Economy in Russia, Dr. Manfred Liebl. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral relations.
