On 9 November 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the meeting with delegation of the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow headed by its First Secretary Leo S. Trembley. During the meeting, information was exchanged and possible lines of cooperation discussed.

On 2 to 5 November, delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov visited the Free State of Saxony (Germany).

On 29 October 2009, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Solovyev met with delegation of German-based BWF.

On 27 October 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the meeting with business delegation from the Republic of Lithuania headed by commercial secretary and special representative of the Ministry of Economics at the Embassy of Lithuania in Moscow. The parties exchanged information and discussed possible lines of cooperation.

On 26 October 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the meeting between Deputy Minister Linar Latypov and Permanent Representative of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) in the Russian Federation M. Önder Tekeli. The parties discussed possible lines of cooperation development.

On 22 October 2009, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with the delegation of General Electric headed by GE Energy’s Country Executive Ruslan Pakhomov. The meeting was attended by a number of top executives from enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan. The parties discussed the results of the visit of the company’s representatives and the prospects of cooperation.

On 20 October 2009, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov took part in the seminar Financial Structures and Instruments of Luxembourg held in Kazan for heads and leaders of financial and legal divisions in the banking sphere, large companies of the Republic of Tatarstan, and legal and financial advisers.

On 15 October 2009, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with representatives of the Kuwait-based Turkapital Holding Corporation headed by its Vice President and CEO Fevvaz el-İssa.

On 15 October 2009, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting with representatives of the Turkey-based Kastamonu Entegre. Discussion dealt with the issue of raw material supply to the project of fibreboard production in Tatarstan.

On 14 October 2009, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov conducted a number of business meetings with participants of the 2nd International Investment Forum Euromoney Kazan 2009.
