On 29 April 2015, within the framework of the visit to troops of the Central Military District, Russian Minister of Defence Sergey Shoygu visited Kazan. He made a tour of the Kazan Aviation Plant, the subsidiary of PAO Tupolev. Sergey Shoygu was accompanied by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Russian Minister of Defence made a tour of facilities and production sites of the aviation plant.
On 29 April 2015, OAO Kazanorgsintez hosted the annual general meeting of its shareholders. The event was attended by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meeting, members of the Board of Directors were elected. The Board of Directors comprised Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin as well.
On 27 April 2015, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest Holding. During the meeting, Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Rafinat Yarullin announced the results of activities of the oil, gas and chemical enterprises of Tatarstan in Q1 2015.
On 27 April 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov had a meeting with the delegation from the Republic of Korea. The delegation comprised representatives of South-Korea-based companies in the sphere of shipbuilding, petrochemicals, medicine, and education.
On 27 April 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov delivered the Letters of Gratitude by the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers to Rashat Fattakhov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, for his long-term conscientious service and significant contribution in solving tasks on mobilisation activities in Tatarstan, as well as to Liliya Vershinina, leading expert at the Record Keeping Department of the Ministry for her long- term fruitful service in the executive authorities of Tatarstan and in connection with her anniversary.
On 25 April 2015, the staff of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade took part in the city volunteer clean-up.
On 23 April 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting of the Interagency Working Group for Medium-Sized and Small-Tonnage Chemistry Development.
On 23 April 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting of the scientific and educational cluster in the energy sector.
The meeting considered issues of developing vocational training institutions, such as Kazan Power Engineering College and Zainsk Polytechnic College.
On 22 April 2015, Kazan hosted the 13th Session of the Russian-Cuban Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation. Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan is prepared to become a link in the expansion of Russian-Cuban relations.
From 20 to 27 April 2015, Tatarstan hosted the volunteer campaign ‘Spring Week of Kindness: Chain of Good Deeds’.
The mission of the campaign was to promote the idea of voluntary work as an important resource for solving social problems of local society and increasing of public awareness.
