Today, Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with David Campbell, President of British Petroleum Russia. The meeting was attended by Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Principal of Kazan (Volga) Federal University Ilshat Gafurov. The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and BP Russia.

On June 22, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with executives of AO Gazprom Teploenergo under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov The meeting was attended by representatives of AO Gazprom Teploenergo, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services, Tatarstan deputy corps, Tatarstan Centre for Energy Saving Technologies, OOO UK KER-Holding, OAO KMPO, OAO Generating Company, OAO Grid Company, and OAO Kazan Giproniiaviaprom. The management of OAO Gazprom Teploenergo informed the participants about the company’s activities. The meeting discussed the current and prospective areas for cooperation between OAO Gazprom Teploenergo and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan.

 

On June 22, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov delivered the Letter of Acknowledgment from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan to Nailya Sagdeyeva, Deputy Head of the Corporate Department of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, for her many years of conscientious work.

The Tatarstan-Kazakhstan Polymer Forum was held on June 18 in Almaty within the framework of the 2nd International Conference for Oil Refining and Petrochemical Industry of Central Asia. From Tatarstan, the forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan petrochemical companies (PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, PAO Kazanorgsintez, OAO Tatneft, OOO Tekhstroi, and OOO P-D Alabuga Steklovolokno). The forum heard presentations of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan companies, discussed mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of equipment and components for the petrochemical industry, chemical products, and technologies. Tatarstan enterprises informed their Kazakhstan peers on new brands of plastics, synthetic rubbers, and fiberglass. Kazakhstan enterprises learned about the conditions of supplying Tatarstan products to the market of Kazakhstan.

 

On 18 June 2015, the Agreement between Tatarstan and Vologda Oblast on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Social and Cultural Cooperation was signed at the meeting held within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

The Agreement on Cooperation between Tatarstan and Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The signatories of the document were Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Rosatom Director General Sergei Kiriyenko. The signing ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

 

From 18 to 19 June 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, who was the member of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the 19th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

 

The Forum saw the signing of an agreement between Tatarstan OAO RosSeti (Russian Grids) on cooperation in the sphere of power engineering.

 

Ravil Zaripov also attended the meetings between Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Governor of Vologda Oblast Oleg Kuvshinnikov, executives of Japan Bank for International Cooperation and WorldSkills International, and Tatar community of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.

 

On 17 June 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the final session of the Collegium of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in Moscow dedicated to results of its activities in 2014 and key focus areas for 2015 and subsequent years.

The Collegium was attended by officials from the Russian Government, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and State Duma Committee for Industry.

On 17 June 2015, the Programme for Tatarstan Petrochemical Sector Development for 2015-2019 was considered and approved during the meeting of the Tatarstan Security Council. The event was held in the Kazan Kremlin and was attended by Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, permanent members of the Security Council, top officials and executives from Tatarstan ministries and agencies, territorial bodies of federal structures, and Tatarstan enterprises.

 

Issues of further cooperation development between Tatarstan and Denmark-based Danfoss were discussed during the meeting under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

The meeting was attended by executives and top officials from Danfoss; Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Service; Tatarstan Centre of Energy Saving Technologies under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers; leading enterprises of Tatarstan’s fuel and energy sector, such as OAO Tatneft, OAO Generating Company, OAO TGK-16 (Territorial Generating Company), and OAO Kazenergo.

During the meeting held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the parties reviewed prospects for cooperation within the framework of implementing the housing rehabilitation programme and discussed opportunities of using the Danfoss equipment in implementing the heat supply reconstruction projects.
