On 27 January 2016, during the extended session of Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Services, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated that special attention should be paid to qualified personnel training.
The Collegium was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Services Elmira Zaripova, Chairman of the Tatarstan Council of Municipalities Minsagit Shakirov and top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
Welfare of Tatarstan largely depends on the state of the economy, noted Rustam Minnikhanov. He emphasized that we need to upgrade existing facilities and develop new industries for further development of the republic. The personnel training should be improved as well.
Rustam Minnikhanov ordered to pay close attention to control over informal labour market.
On 26 January 2016, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and members of Tatarstan regional branch of All-Russia Public Organisation “Delovaya Rossiya” (Business Russia).
During the meeting, the participants discussed topical issues of State support to industrial enterprises and business entities in modern economic conditions.
On 25 January 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meeting, the participants summarised the results of activities of the Tatarstan petrochemical sector’s enterprises in 2015.
Production volumes of petrochemical sector’s enterprises in the republic have increased by 2.5% within a year. Production of petrochemicals has increased by 3.7% and chemicals by 1.9%. Production of rubber and plastic products has decreased. Republic`s results in the fuel sector have exceeded the Russian`s ones.
In December, Tatneft increased oil production up to 2,386 million tonnes. During the year, the company produced nearly 27 million tonnes of oil with an increase of 2.7%. TANECO produced 8.9 million tonnes of petrochemicals with an increase of 2.1%. Sales volumes of diesel fuel, natural gasoline and heating oil have increased.
On 25 January 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired a meeting of the working group on development of cooperation with General Electric.
The meeting was attended by top executives of General Electric`s Representative Office in Russia, top officials of ministries, agencies and large industrial enterprises of Tatarstan.
Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov described the results of joint work and identified promising areas for further cooperation with General Electric.
During the meeting of the working group, the participants discussed prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas: energy sector, petrochemistry, oil production, housing and utilities, education, health care, and environment sector.
On 22 January 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan Minsagit Shakirov, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, representatives of Staff of the Tatarstan President, ministries and agencies, as well as heads of municipal entities of the republic.
During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of legal regulation of non-stationary sales outlets’ activities in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In his speech, Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov analysed existing federal legislation regulating the location of non-stationary sales outlets, experience of Russian regions in this area and made proposals on improving the legal regulation of non-stationary trade in the Republic of Tatarstan.
PAO Tatneft continues to develop promising system technologies of formation pressure maintenance system, aimed at reducing energy consumption and increasing production efficiency.
The enterprise is working on protection of downhole equipment of injection wells from high pressure and corrosion, as well as on integrated optimisation of formation pressure maintenance processes. During 2015, new injection wells totalling 198 were commissioned at PAO Tatneft. The work plan was fulfilled 111.2%.
Within the framework of programme execution on optimizing energy consumption in formation pressure maintenance system in 2015, domestic positive displacement pumping units with the capacity of 500m3/d were implemented at Elkhovneft and Bavlyneft (gas and oil producing divisions) in 2015.
On 19 January 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov held an organisational meeting on issues of holding the Tatarstan International Automotive Forum “TIAF” in Kazan.
The Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the Tatarstan International Automotive Forum “TIAF” supported by Automechanika is held in Tatarstan for the second time. This year it will be held from 3 to 5 February at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre. The official opening ceremony and the Forum will be attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The organisers of the Forum are the Association of European Business, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, and the Russian subdivision of Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
Within the framework of the business programme of the Forum, it is scheduled to hold a plenary session “The Automotive Industry in Russia: Trends, Forecasts, Outlook” with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov; thematic sessions “Export: Will It Save the Car Industry?” and “Import Substitution Policies: New Ways of State Support to Manufacturing Industry”, round table discussions and B2B meetings on procurement activities with the participation of top executives of the leading automotive enterprises located in Tatarstan and Russia, such as KAMAZ, FordSollers, YelAZ, PCMA RUS, AVTOVAZ, etc.
OAO KMPO is implementing the programme of interaction between an enterprise and Kazan State Technical University on training highly qualified experts.
The main mission of target classes of Kazan State Technical University and KMPO is to prepare intensively high school students for passing the Unified State Exam (EGE) in such disciplines as mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering graphics for their admission to Kazan State Technical University and further employment at engine-building enterprise. The classes will be held by professors from the university.
During the second semester, students will study AvtoCAD and NX programmes, as well as technical processes. Practical classes will be held in departments and workshops at the main production site of the enterprise.
On 17 January 2016, the crew of the KAMAZ-Master team headed by Ayrat Mardeyev ranked second at the Dakar Rally 2016, yielding the championship to the team from the Netherlands.
It should be noted that the KAMAZ-Master team is the most award-winning one and owns 13 highest awards.
On 15 January 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of the Cognitive Technologies Group Olga Uskova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation and signed a Letter of Intent between AO SEZ Innopolis and Russia-based Cognitive Technologies.
Creation of Technology Development Centre is not the first project of Cognitive Technologies in Tatarstan. In 2014, Cognitive Technologies jointly with PAO KAMAZ initiated a project on creation of a new generation unmanned vehicle on the basis of KAMAZ truck by 2020.
