On 15 September 2016, the Pyramid Culture and Entertainment Complex hosted a ceremony of awarding winners of the 7th LUKOIL Social and Cultural Projects Competition that is represented in Tatarstan by AO RITEK.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and First Executive Vice President of LUKOIL Ravil Maganov arrived to the venue to congratulate the authors of the best projects.
On 15 September 2016, a meeting was held between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and delegation from PAO Lukoil headed by its First Executive Vice President Ravil Maganov.
The meeting took place in the Kazan Kremlin and was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Leyla Fazleyeva, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Farid Abdulganiyev, Director General of PAO Tatneft Nail Maganov, Director General of OAO TAIF Albert Shigabutdinov, Director General of AO Ritek Nikolay Nikolayev, and others.
On 15 September 2016, Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted a meeting under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov dedicated to the issues of supporting citizens’ horticultural and gardening societies. The meeting was attended by top officials from Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
Ildar Khalikov noted that in 2017 Tatarstan will allocate RUB 550 million from its budget to solve key issues of horticultural and gardening societies. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov informed that Tatarstan President adopted a decision that related ministries and agencies (Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads) will be ordered today to include RUB 300 million into the budget for repair and renovation of roads to gardening associations and RUB 100 million to solve water supply issues. As to electric energy, Tatarstan President ordered to include not less than RUB 100 million to the investment programme of Setevaya (Grid) Company for 2017. Another RUB 50 million will be allocated to solve waste disposal issues.
On 14 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov had a meeting with Japanese delegation making a working visit to Tatarstan.
The delegation from Japan comprises representatives of the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and a number of major industrial and engineering companies and research institutions of Japan, such as Nippon Signal Co. Ltd, Panasonic, IHI Corporation, Nikken Sekkei Reserch Institute, NRI, Nice Corporation, Tairiku Trading Co. Ltd., Urban Renaissance Agency, SEKISUI, Chemical Co. Ltd.
During the meeting, Japanese delegates made specific proposals regarding promising areas of cooperation with Tatarstan enterprises and organisations.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov emphasised that Tatarstan is willing to cooperate with Japanese companies in implementing joint projects in mechanical engineering, large-scale power generation, housing and public utilities, civil construction, and urban infrastructure development.
On 14 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov had a meeting with representatives of OOO Inter Business Group Engineering.
During the meeting held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, representatives of IBGD made a presentation of their innovation project on recycling coal-containing waste using continuous pyrolysis technology by IBGD and discussed prospects of development and implementation of this project.
On 13 September 2016, Tatarstan delegation headed by President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the opening ceremony of the International Specialised Exhibition of Automotive Parts, Components, Car Maintenance Equipment and Products Automechanika 2016, which is being held in Frankfurt am Main at Messe Frankfurt international exhibition grounds.
The Tatarstan President was accompanied by Messe Frankfurt President Wolfgang Marzin. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and members of Tatarstan delegation visited exhibition stands of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, ZF Services, HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co, ThyssenKrupp Bilstein GmbH, and Bosch, where they heard about technologies and equipment of the companies.
On 13 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, within his working trip to Germany (from 12 to 13 September 2016), participated in a business breakfast arranged by Merck. The venue of the meeting was the head office of the company located in Darmstadt.
Member of the Board of Directors and Director General of Merck Healthcare Belén Garijo made a presentation about the company. Merck is the oldest pharmaceutical, chemical, and biological company in the world.
At the end of the meeting, Tatarstan President ordered to create a working group jointly with AO Tatkhimpharmpreparaty that could elaborate options for cooperation in the production of drugs.
On 12 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, as a member of Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, had a meeting with top executives of the Association of German Machine-Builders (VDMA). The meeting was held in Frankfurt am Main in the head office of the Association of German Machine-Builders within the framework of the working trip of Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Germany from 12 to 13 September 2016.
Chief Executive Officer of the Association of German Machine-Builders (VDMA) Thilo Brodtmann welcomed participants of the meeting. When greeting the members of the Tatarstan delegation, he informed that mechanical engineering is one of the most important spheres in Germany, its revenues exceed EUR 218 billion, and about 1 million people are occupied in this sector.
At the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov invited top officials of the Association of German Machine-Builders (VDMA) to visit Tatarstan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has also invited working groups to Tatarstan to consider issues of cooperation in various areas.
On 10 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took the floor during live broadcast with Moscow within the closing ceremony of the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche. He congratulated citizens of the capital with the City Day and noted that authorities of Moscow and Kazan conduct major efforts for the rational use of fuel and power resources.
All through the day, young scientists and representatives of fuel and power companies were telling citizens about more rational ways of using resources, smart home system and how to achieve energy saving effects without compromise to comfort. Organisers of the festival emphasise that its main mission is to pay attention of society to renewable and alternative energy.
On 9 September 2016, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the 4th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation.
The meeting was attended by co-chairmen of the working group: Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Turkmenistan Minister of Economy Batyr Bazarov, as well as members from Turkmenistan and Tatarstan: top officials of ministries and agencies and top executives of enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.
Participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in various spheres, shared experience, and studied the proposals of business partners.
At the end of the meeting, co-chairman of the working group Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Turkmenistan Minister of Economy Batyr Bazarov signed the Final Protocol of the working group’s meeting.
