Within the framework of the meeting with industrial enterprises chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the award ceremony of the republic’s Engineer of the Year contest was held today.

The contest was held for the first time in 12 industrial areas for three age categories of participants. A total of 258 applications were submitted for participation in the contest, after considering which, 33 representatives from 21 republic’s enterprises became winners. The contest’s commission headed by Ibragim Khisameyev noted the high level of the papers submitted by the participants.

The list of winners of the Engineer of the Year contest is available here (in Russian), each was awarded with an Internship Certificate, a statuette, and an iPad tablet.
