One of the issues on the agenda was the discussion of the opportunity of opening a branch of LIAZ-Modelarna in Tatarstan. LIAZ-Modelarna is a well-known former manufacturer of LIAZ trucks. Today, the company is engaged in the production of moulds and devices for the automotive and aerospace industries and power engineering. Another activity of LIAZ-Modelarna is the production of drones for the prevention maintenance of oil and gas pipelines.
The parties also discussed the implementation of key points identified at the previous meeting with representatives of Logio in March this year.
Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov noted fruitful joint work on the implementation of the company’s projects in Tatarstan.
Logio specialises in supply chain management. One of its projects is software that helps reduce inventory and increase sales for trading companies and gas stations.
The final issue on the agenda was the consideration of the opportunity of organising a booth of Czech companies within the framework of the presentation of truck assembly line by KAMAZ based on digital enterprise principle during Mechanical Engineer’s Day in September 2019.
Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with the Turkish delegation of the BRB Holding.
Representatives of the BRB Holding arrived in Tatarstan with a two-day visit to present the capabilities of the holding and discuss potential cooperation.
BRB International BV is a company providing technology solutions with silicones, lube oil additives, and chemicals.
The parent company of the holding, Reform Spor Sistemleri Ltd. Sti., was founded in 1994 as a manufacturer of special flooring made of synthetic fibres and polyurethane granules for sports facilities.
To date, the BRB Holding incorporates 10 companies represented in such sectors as sports, construction, furniture industries, the production of elements for children's playgrounds, artificial floor coverings, as well as agriculture.
At the current meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between the holding and the republic, as well as ways of funding the creation of sports facilities in Tatarstan.
On July 29, a delegation from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Tatarstan. The delegation includes Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Foods, and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Amangeldi Isaev and founder of Balykchy Alko Trade Rakhat Turgunbaev.
Today, the delegation visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, where they met with Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and representatives of Tatspirtprom.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas, in particular, in the alcohol industry. Amangeldi Isaev stated the need to study the market of production, sales, and supply of alcoholic beverages in Tatarstan.
When discussing this issue, Minister Karimov spoke about the measures in support of republic’s exporters, which are carried out within the framework of the International Cooperation and Exports national project.
Members of the Kyrgyz delegation were also interested in cooperation in the agricultural sector in such areas as the supply of agricultural products and fertilisers for agricultural purposes. In addition, during the dialogue, the parties raised the issue of joint work based on agro-industrial parks of Tatarstan.
Minister Karimov took part in the 16th meeting of the Mixed Intergovernmental Russian-Turkish Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, co-chaired by Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey Ms. Ruhsar Pekcan and Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Novak.
During the Commission’s meeting, the parties discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Turkey and summed up the results of recent joint work.
On the sidelines of the Commission’s work, a Russian-Turkish business forum was organised, timed to the 20th session of the business councils of Russia and Turkey.
Within the framework of this event, meetings were also arranged with representatives of Turkish businesses, including that with top executives of TTAF. The company is engaged in the production of electrical connectors. The last meeting with them was held during the visit of the Turkish delegation to Tatarstan.
Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with representatives from Schülken Form Rus and industrial enterprises of Tatarstan.
The meeting was held in pursuance of the instructions by the Tatarstan President following his visit to Thuringia (Germany) on the establishment of interaction between the companies from Tatarstan and Germany.
At the meeting, Director General of Schülken Form Rus Maksim Anisimov made a presentation of the company and spoke in detail about the scope of its activities, as well as the benefits of mutual cooperation.
Schülken Form Rus is a plastic casting company, which is located on the territory of the Technopolis Himgrad. The company’s specialisation includes the manufacture of high-precision moulds, multi-cavity moulds with reduced cycle times, multi-component moulds for packaging, medical products, automotive components, electrical and electronic products. In addition, the company also provides services for the repair and maintenance of moulds and HRS (hot runner systems), equipment diagnostics and inspection, manufactures parts for moulds, and carries out computer modelling of the injection moulding process in the moulds directly on site.
At the end of the presentation, the participants to the meeting may communicate with the representative of Schülken Form Rus and ask questions.
This week, a delegation from the Tomsk Oblast is in Tatarstan on a business visit. The delegation includes representatives of several sectors: industrial, agricultural, social, cultural, as well as investment business.
Their rich working programme includes visits to ministries and agencies of Tatarstan and meetings with representatives of enterprises in various sectors of the economy.
On July 18, participants of the Tomsk delegation’s industrial sector arrived at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. They include members of the Tomsk Oblast administration, representatives of relevant universities and industrial enterprises (such as TEMZ, NIIPP, and NPF Mikran).
Within the framework of this visit, Tomsk industrialists met with representatives of relevant companies in Tatarstan, in particular, the Kazan Helicopters, the Almetyevsk Plant Radiopribor, the KRPC Helicopters-Mi, and the Kazan Electro-Technical Plant.
The participants of the Tomsk delegation presented the activities of their companies and universities, after which they discussed issues of potential cooperation with the industrial sector of Tatarstan.
Today, representatives of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast arrived at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with an official visit. The delegation includes Deputy Chairman of JAO Government Nikolay Kandelya, Chairman of the Tariff and Price Committee Galina Shlykova, and Director of Oblenergoremont Plus Aleksey Sysolyatin.
Welcoming the guests, Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov noted that Tatarstan is always open for cooperation and is ready to provide assistance on any issues of interest.
The meeting was devoted to the exchange of experience in centralised procurement of fuel for housing and communal services and the energy sector, as well as the impact of this procurement on the tariff component.

Today in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Deputy Minister Aleksey Savelchev hosted a meeting with Owner and Chairman of ADCO Petroleum Inc. and Avrasya Technology, Engineering & Construction Inc. Selçuk Akat, who arrived in Kazan on a working visit to study the oil industry market of Tatarstan, as well as to meet with representatives of relevant republic’s industrial enterprises.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Turkish companies and industrial enterprises in Tatarstan. Aleksey Savelchev spoke about the functioning features of the republic’s oil market and expressed the readiness of the Ministry to provide all necessary information assistance.
ADCO Petroleum Additives Industry & Trade Inc., as a supplier of specialty chemicals for the oil industry, is interested in offering its additives, chemicals, and semi-finished products to oil companies in the region, as well as in acquiring raw materials and finished products from Tatarstan manufacturers. ADCO supplies a full range of petroleum additives that are used throughout the entire oil refining cycle.
Avrasya Technology, Engineering & Construction Inc. is interested in participating in the design, procurement and construction, as well as in providing equipment solutions for the region’s oil and gas sector, with full implementation of its quality management policies.
Today, an economic business forum was held at the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association of Turkey (DKİB).
At the forum, a plenary session was held, where representatives of the Turkish side made a presentation of the Eastern Black Sea region of Turkey.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner made a welcoming speech on behalf of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. He noted the importance of Tatarstan-Turkish cooperation and expressed readiness for the further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations.
The forum also hosted business meetings and bilateral negotiations with representatives of Turkish companies engaged in various activities, such as manufacturers of automotive equipment, furniture products, construction contractors, manufacturers of copper, zinc, and lead products, and others.
The Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB) was established in 1998 in Trabzon to support enterprises in the region in promoting their products to foreign markets. More than 2,000 companies are members of the Association. The main sectors of the companies’ activities are the production of building materials, agriculture, food industry, mining and processing of minerals.
Today, the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted a briefing on the visit to Tatarstan of a Turkmenistan delegation led by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova, and Principal of the Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov.
Cooperation of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan is fruitfully developing in various areas.
On June 22, 2019, the delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov arrived in Kazan. The Turkmenistan delegation included heads of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as large state corporations. Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow arrived in Tatarstan on the morning of June 23, 2019.
Government delegations of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan made a tour of the exhibition of industrial enterprises near the Kazan International Airport. Later, a meeting was held in the Kazan Kremlin, with industrial cooperation as the main topic for discussion. Particular attention was paid to the opening of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan and increasing the number of flights between Kazan and Ashgabat, which are operated by a Turkmenistan airline.
In conclusion, a number of agreements were signed between the parties.
