In July 2017, Russian dealers sold 698 Ford Transit light commercial vehicles. As compared to last July, their sales grew by 65%. The higher y-o-y increase in the Ford model range was only shown by Ford Kuga crossovers (up 102%). Since early 2017, customers buy 4095 vans, minibuses, and special versions created on the basis of Ford Transit, an increase by 48% compared to the period of January to July 2016.

Ford Transit occupies a stable third position in sales among Ford cars in Russia and is the sales leader among foreign brands in the LCV segment following the results of 2016 and 7 months of 2017.

In July, a line of special versions available for ordering directly from Ford dealers was expanded by 24 modifications in 5 types for various purposes: a small-capacity bus, a school bus, a cargo van, an isothermal refrigerating van, and an executive vehicle. A wide range of special Ford Transit versions makes it possible to provide Russian businesses and social services with vehicles that are best suited for solving specific tasks in different roads and climatic conditions.
