Visit of Pfizer representatives to Tatarstan

From July 12 to July 14, Pfizer's delegation visited the Republic of Tatarstan with an extensive programme of events.

In order to discuss cooperation issues, Pfizer experts visited the Tatkhimfarmpreparaty, the Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, the Tatarstan Ministry of Health, the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Scientific and Educational Centre for Pharmaceutics at KFU, the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at KFU, the KNITU, the Kazan State Medical University, and the Kazan State Medical Academy.

The meetings were devoted to the issues of potential cooperation in the fields of development and localisation of medicines, educational programmes for doctors, students, resident physicians, postgraduates, and regional programmes of supplying medicines for cardiology, oncology, rheumatology, neurology, and psychiatry.

The results of the visit were summarised in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan on July 14, 2017.

For reference: Pfizer has been present in Russia since 1992, and now over 1,000 of its employees work in more than 50 cities throughout the country. As of now, Pfizer has registered more than 100 preparations in Russia.
